Should games cater for people like me?

QTE's should be removed from all games.

I don’t see why not

Yes. But also because button mashing isn't fun.

QTEs suck so they should be removed regardless of handicapped faggots

Use a turbo button

"it's better to be inclusive than exclusive" - video game dunkey

No. Buy a controller with turbo, or ask a friend to help with mashing.

People like you don't matter.

speak for yourself

Bro just mash it faster

can't you just play a turn-based game? I can't imagine something like Civ 5 needing fast reflexes

>be blind
>unable to play games and browsing Zig Forums
WTF why are games not designed for someone like me?

Basef

No but QTEs should never exist to begin with. I'm pretty sure I wrecked my switch pro because of those ox faggots in dragons dogma.

You wrecked it because it's cheaply made plastic toy.

what if they really wanted to play
oh i don't fucking know
jedi fallen order or some other parkour platformer shit

should they just watch a let's play?
actually wait fallen order lets you turn off button mash evens yeah play that instead

What if a blind guy really wants to watch a movie user? You can't accommodate every disability. QTEs are bullshit "gameplay" padding though.

Nowadays almost every modern game is giving you the option to hold instead of mash the buttons, at least for QTEs

The God Hand prompts were like having an orgasm.

They have described audio actually for some movies and special apparatus to close caption in-theatre movies just for the hearing impaired even
I remember in grade school some eons ago they had audiobook versions of movies on vinyl

I mean it doesn't hurt them if they do, right? Just have an option. Great thing about options is they're optional. It'd take all the fun out of Asura's Wrath though, and I dunno how you'd play Quantic Dream games.

No.

>and I dunno how you'd play Quantic Dream games.
So what I am hearing is these people aren't disabled at all.
They simply evolved a capability to automatically reject new and emergent forms of toxic waste.
Life is beautiful.

Not all of them, but the ones that can do so without being detrimental to their core gameplay should.

>have mental retardation that prevents me from comprehending just about anything besides breathing
>have no arms or legs
>games don't cater to me
Truly we live in a society.

...

Keep saying it

The only game you're missing out on is God Hand and then, you'd probably never achieve enough skill for it to become as stellar as it's inteded to be. I didn't neither.
Enjoy turn based games if you're into vidya user, there are a shitload of great ones.

I was playing killer7 on killer8 difficulty and I don't get why they made the button mashing so much harder. It didn't bother me, thank God I'm good at mashing, but I feel for anyone who sucks at it trying to play that difficulty. Shit's almost MGS torture scene bad.
