No mercy

Stomping noobs is the honour of those who put in the grind and what noobs should look forward to during the grind.
That being said I'm not a huge fan of systems purposely designed to just grief new players.

RULES OF NATURE!

this is on the titanfall 2 forums by the way

If being stomped turns you off a game instead of motivating you to get better you are a faggot who shouldn't be playing PvP games

It's fun, but not doing it excessively. Everyone here will be all 'i love doing it because i'm epic based anymous'

I start cheating just to make tryhard autists seethe.

In Rust I sometimes help fresh spawns by giving them gear but depending on how they respond to my questions decides whether they gain more lead to the brain than is medically recommended.

I don't usually use Mantreads

This about titanfall? If anything i'm seeing 'noobs' stomping. Skill ceiling is way overhyped in that game. If you've played an fps and can aim you won't get stomped by veterans anyway.

This.

This. Whats the point of grinding if Im not going to get rewarded for it. I love bullying the weak

This is an actual problem that kills dota 2 currently. There are no new players and the few that are actually new are in 9/10 smurfs match having a bad experience

The game should reward skill, experience, and time played. The gameplay mechanics shouldn't have too wide a gap for risk between old and new players.

This.
If a game is possible to cheat, there's nothing special about being good at it.
Only exception is racing games.

I do this in GTA Online, I like to test out how hostile noobs are. The moment they try to kill me I stomp their shit in until they leave and I hope it changes their shoot first mentality.

Its fun calling people faggots and yelling at teammates i just play techies and roam getting free kills and spamming my "just have a seat over there and let the smart people work" all chat that is fully voiced by techies its glorious

I love to rack up easy wins against stubborn noobs in Teggen 7, once I got like 26 wins in a row before he ragequitted

My special skill is flaming teammates and staying 10k behaviour score at the same time. Took years to learn

>noob blatantly using the most broken items in the game, probably following some best loadout guide
I will exclusively target them and tbag them every chance I get
>noob just starting the game and naturally finding out whats good
Maybe I'll go easy on them if they're super bad, but usually just treat them like everyone else

Good. Fuck dotards, fuck assfaggots, fuck smurfs, fuck chinks, fuck esports and fuck jannies.

online games are for underachievers, scumbags and sluts

No. People who play competitive games necessarily need to possess an innate drive to better themselves constantly. Otherwise they shit up the playerbase with their incessant whining, then end up quitting anyway because they couldn't git gud.
You don't git gud by someone showing mercy. You git gud by losing, dying, reflecting, practicing, and dying some more. Fuck these scrubs.
And no, it's not gatekeeping. I've personally quit several games because I just don't consider it worth my time. But I'm not blaming it on anyone for making the game "unfun."

this is why Zig Forums hates ds2.

i cheat and stomp on noobs

based shirt

I agree with the message, but the fact that the dude felt so upset about such a stupid harmless thing to print it on a t-shirt is kinda autistic.

>get stomped repeatedly
>observe what victors are doing
>watch YT vids about it
>so that's what the skill ceiling for this game looks like?
>fuck that, uninstalling

You could, you know, just play it because you like how it plays at a core level and just accept losing matches as a natural part of it.

>"Please stop playing so good, make mistakes or waste time, just let me win, please"
I don't get this logic, its not like they're playing a contact sport and they're leaving with broken bones and shit, its a fucking videogame, fucking get over it

>new player joins
>gets stomped
>quits
>game slowly stops getting new players
>game dies

>NOOOOOOO PLEASE STOP SHITTING ON ME OR I'LL GO BACK TO APEX AND YOUR GAME WILL BE DEAD AGAIN!!!!!
Speedlets, not even once.

Or
>Time passes
>Game dies

Nothing wrong with the message but it's infantile to wear such shirts in public.
Nobody asked your opinion on tattoos and nobody really cares. You just look like a self-centered asshat.

What game? Anyway, most multiplayer games nowadays have some sort of matchmaking, so if you're getting your shit pushed in you are just REALLY bad at videogames in general

>What game?
Read the thread, David.

If you don't stomp them they'll never have the motivation to stop being noobs

The way they get over it is by not playing. By being a dickhead and stomping newbs, you are strangling your own game to death.

No.

I actually just picked it up. Is it as good as they say?

My stance is that if you enjoy stomping people who aren't close to your skill level at all, you have deeper rooted issues.
I have never understood how noobstomping is fun for literally anybody. what is the point of it? You could be playing an actually close game that utilizes your skill level, and instead you choose to use it to play against people who don't know what they are doing.
