It's okay if you play on madhouse and I liked its storytelling even though it has young girl scary cliche. I think it receives undeserved praise since 6 was garbage.

it was way too scripted. it took the controls from player to play some dumb scripted cinematic too often which was always some pretentiously "oh look so gruesome gore waow" i cringed everytime
jack being poor mans nemesis 2.0 was also dumb move. the fact that it got regenerative powers but didnt evolve for shit was very lazy missed oportunity.
also on top of all scripted bullshit, only 1 enemy type. lol. never have there been only 1 enemy type in re game before.
but ofc, capcom bootlickers will suck it up and praise and thank them after they were done shitting this pile of hot gabage down their throats.
in reality the game is outlast with guns and shouldnt have ever been made or just kept as its own thing. but they had to stick that resi evil tag there just for attention.
