Well yeah, considering they're trying to incorporate mechanics from Bloodlines. It'd look nicer to have Megadrive/PCE visuals and it'd also probably be easier to parse that way too.

This. COTM was WAY better than ROTN, which was insanely unbalanced and looked ugly as fuck. COTM was a solid action platformer, while ROTN is the worst Igavania-style game, even worse than Circle of the Moon on the GBA.
