Multiplatform games with platform-exclusive content

What are some other games that have this kind of thing? And do you think it's a fun idea or a ripoff?

sonic transformed pc has tf2 shit and i guess death stranding pc has some hl2 shit?

MK9 on ps3 had Kratos
Lost Planet 2 on xbox had Marcus and Dom from Gears
Shovel Knight gave each console their own exclusive boss
The Xbox version also had Banjo

Soul Calibur 2 is the best fighting game of all time, don't @ me

PC also had total war, football manager and company of heroes characters.

soulcalibur 4 had this as well but it was a timed exlcusive

ah yes for some weird and unexplainable reason totally forgot those iconic characters from the sonic racing game game

SC2 and Tekken 5 are debatably the best of their series. 3 and Tag2 are close contenders though

> some weird and unexplainable reason
> sega owns all of this

NBA Street volume 3 the goat

Death Stranding on PS4 has holograms of some bots and Aloy from HZD that you can put outside your structures to greet you/other players.
And HZD (probably just the PS4 version, idk) has a couple treasure items that are DS Easter eggs, like Sam's cuff links. Pretty sure you can't do anything with them but sell them.

its retarded, especially in a fighting game and essentially renders that character tournament illegal no matter how good or bad they are.

Okay so aside from it triggering autists likeI thought SC2 having link on gamecube was dope

Nether of these are true, i love SC2 and play it online on dolphin regularly but it has a plethora of problems, including S2 and Gstep glitches which fuck over a large portion of the cast. imo SCV was the best in the series.

Similarly vanilla T5 was dog shit the game was full of glitchjes and ToD combos till Eighting stepped in and fixed everything for Namco with DR. and anyone who claims T3 is good is running on nostalgia and nothing more. you might be right about Tag2 though some people seem to dislike it.

>literal triggered nintodler spitting his dummy out because someones said his baby guest character was a bad idea.

Skyrim Switch had some Zelda stuff and amiibo support.

Dead Space had a suit exclusive to both PS3 and 360. Both were supposed to resemble each console

Sorry it messed up your tournaments I like having fun. Maybe get a weighted blanket.

Rayman 3 on Gamecube had a load of exclusive content that could be unlocked if you hooked the GC and GBA versions up with the cable and they would unlock shit in both versions

I never knew that thank you user.

Shovel Knight PC and Xbox versions have a Battletoads boss fight and armor, PS4 version has a Kratos boss fight, Switch version has Amiibo support that gives you cosmetics and abilities.

KH3 had a PS4 keyblade and an Xbox One keyblade.

Oh, and a 7-11 keyblade.

Speaking of 7-11, I remember Tales of Zestiria gave the main character costume and a healing skill if you preordered the game through them in Japan.

Shush now baby

BASED. Easily my favourite too, no fighting game has come close yo the perfection of SC2 since.

Not even the best game in its own series, and if you think its perfect you dont actual play the game.

It goes a long way. The PC port of Toshinden had Earthworm Jim, and the port of Tony Hawk 3 had Doomguy

What character(s) was in the HD port that got released later on the PS3/360?

Both Spawn from OG xbox and Heihachi from PS2 version were n both versions of that. No Link obviously

You're a huge fag if you honestly preferred Link over Spawn. The spins he'd do with his axe were slick as fuck, you'd style on some scrub online then finish it up by punking his ass with a flourish. It was incredible.

The console and PC versions of Super Meat Boy each have their own sets of exclusive guest characters.
