I think the true simulated economy and warfare system make it a worthy successor to X3.

I despised the GoD system that would destroy the Terran economy unless you could rush to finish the Aldrin plot.

understand that X3 has been developed for over 10 years, X3 was really fucking bad on release.
X4 has done a lot of great improvements, give it time and it will become the best space game ever made.

I really wish the game had more starts or a custom start option. Grinding rep at the start is such a pain.

It was buggy as fuck with some shit missing (shipyards) but they fixed it up fairly quickly.

this is how the devs develop their games, they were pretty much the first ever devs to use a model similar to early access.
Anyway, it's nice seeing X4 selling so well, X rebirth almost made them bankrupt

Honestly think the Split Vendetta OST is better than any of the other X music. The composer really outdid himself.

X3 might have shit like Kingdom End but on a track-for-track basis almost everything in SV is kino.

The only thing Rebirth had going for it was aesthetics.

split vendetta was great, the ships are actually good looking and have great stats.
hopefully they will keep this up for the terran dlc
