More survival horror than the RE co-op games. Carrying around a lantern in RE5 as 2p is what I imagine playing that JRPG Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles is like. RE0 did the partner system better than all these co-op REs.

RE8 co-op might actually work out this time around due to sanity effects; this will horrorize who is on your team vs who isn't.

it relies heavily on teamwork, and the enemies and item placement is different in online than in singleplayer
