the last update before Hades leaves early access is in the main branch now and the patch notes are here
supergiantgames.com
Hades
Artemis best goddess.
How good is it? I've ignored everything about the game ever since I first learned it would be early access
What's the legendary upgrade for adamant rail?
should I buy this? not interested that much into rogue likes since binding of isaac rebirth and dead cells dissapointed, I'm afraid this one will disappoint me aswell but it looks ok
So the last time I played this, you could fight Hades, and it would still lead to the bad end. Did they add any new areas/story after that yet or are they saving it for launch?
Lucifer, which turns the gun into a laser beam
They're saving it for launch.
Nah, it still ends abruptly when you kill him. They're only adding anything after that in the final update.
Arright, thanks user.
It's good, fast-paced fun with the usual qualities you probably know from this developer. Just like so many other rouge-likes you do repetitive stuff. Also for an early access it's already very well-polished and feels almost complete, save the last level and boss.
Neat, was really wondering what the L------ was supposed to be in the patch notes.
Its great, one of the best rogue likes, good design and good pace, but to be fair the early acess kinda ruined a bit, because i feel like i seen it all, unless patch 1.0 or later expansions brig a lot to the table (new gods, 2-3 new weapons, a new level) i do not see much reason to play it even more (100+hours).
If you like super giant games you will like it.
As a rogue lite is subpar in replayability. Not many rooms, or bosses. Graphics is good, sound and art too. There are better games for less money than this one
>steal from charon in the first shop in tartarus
>get reamed by a 50 damage oar that covers half of the arena
oops
Was I supposed to get past the fire world on my 2nd run? How short is this game?
Fire world/Asphodel is the 2nd of 4 areas. You'll naturally work your way further by knowing how to play better and buying upgrades from the mirror of nightgetting charms by gifting Nectar
How is that even an option in the first place?
I really want them to do something with Zag's own aspect
something something titans
As someone who rarely buys early access and usually doesn't care for rogue-likes, I think it's a blast. Supergiant has never really disappointed me.
Do you think there's gonna be multiple endings?
I think there's going to be a less placeholder-y bad ending after the Hades fight initially, and then a series of things you need to do in the game to unlock the true ending/boss.
It'd be cool if there was a sort of epilogue that changed depending on which characters you managed to help and/or be in a relationship with, but I don't expect too huge of an edition in regards to the actual ending simply because they said they're not adding any more major areas.
They have to justify you beating the game over and over again somehow.
I'd say give it a go if you're already a fan of any of Supergiant's past stuff. I wouldn't say the main plot's quite as strong as their past work, simply because of its nature as an Early Access rogue-like, but it's basically Bastion with faster-paced and more varied combat.
I don't know whether to romance Death or Meg at this point. My heart was always set on Dusa, but we're just BFFs now.
I think of completely wiping my progress and just waiting for 1.0 to drop and then enjoy the story again.
I'm still mad
>or
You're a demi-God, romance them both. It's not like anyone will stop you.
Pyre spoiled me with Sandra. Megaera and Thanatos seem interchangeably emo to me by comparison.
