I signed with facebook gaming for their 90 day exclusivity contract for $2500. Considering I made about $1000 a month from mixer that's a pretty fair shake. Thankfully it wasn't my only source of income either. If facebook gaming doesn't bring in any money I'll probably just stop streaming altogether, it got to be more of a hassle than it was worth dealing with audio and video setup, putting down my green screen, adjusing fucking lights that baked me alive, having to pretend I liked terrible games that got all the viewers... Eh.

Originally known as beam, it was designed to be a livestreaming protocol/backend that reduced delay to a minimum. Microsoft bought it during it's testing period and turned it into a full fledged streaming website, and it flopped because it had nothing unique about it besides being owned by MS, and giving away xbox games on the regular.
Oh and the low delay but it turns out for all the people that bitch about it, it doesn't actually matter to anyone.

Mixer was a safe haven for them because it was the only place they could actually get recognition because microsoft put anyone who was streaming up on the front page since so few people used the site, so if you had more than 10 viewers you were alreayd eligible to be a partner.
Most people are just taking the facebook deal though, it's really good, especially if you were smaller.

Simpleflips got a 6 figure deal to stream exclusive content on facebook gaming for an undetermined period, but obviously way more than he was making on twitch. Twitch is where his viewerbase is and because he's still streaming there I would bet real actual cash that as soon as his fb contract is up he goes right back to being on twitch exclusively.
He also talked about being offered a deal from mixer not that long ago, too, but it paled in comparison to fb.
