Thoughts on this game? Its probably one of the best mech games on the market and it has a great style.
There's a sequel in development but apparently one of like three of the devs got cancelled as of like an hour ago.

It's not really a mech game, more like an isometric shooter with a mech theme. Not bad though and it looks cool.
>one of like three of the devs got cancelled as of like an hour ago
You're joking right? Does the dev even have a social presence?
He posts on SomethingAwful, I think. Someone rounded up a bunch of select posts (pictured) to smear him with. But its fucking confusing to me why anyone would bother doing this considering Brigador flopped hardcore and I guarantee you Brigador Killers probably wont do fantastic either.
And the response
just went up on the devs discord, this sucks, I hope the guy lands on his feet, brigador was great
You in the discord too? Fuck the trannies in there that are trying to play the "I understand and respect your decision, it was the right move :)"
Brigador was one of the only games I thought had pretty based devs - they still are, but goddamn if they go then practically nobody is safe given their obscurity.
He was based until he issued that response. Why would he give up like that? Their game is too niche to fail just because of his posts on a forum only a piddling amount of gamers read.
I would assume they're scared considering the failure of the first game. Any kind of negative press for a game that could honestly be their last one would be a death sentence.
... Or it would be good exposure, now that I think about it. Any press for Gausswerks would be good press, considering how niche they are anyway. Either way, apparently Gauss left of his own volition to preserve Brigador Killers from any future Twitter drama, but I guess he didn't really have a choice.
>too easy
>no campaign or story
>every level is "wanna ammo? Fuck you, go stomp the houses"
This game is a perfect example of shit, shilled by /v. I'd better replay Future cop LAPD.
Not him, but I'm in there as well. Fuck these disingenuous niggers. Now I remember why I only ever lurked on that server.
heh, I guess nobody is safe from this kind of scrutiny,
but for real don't post under the same handle you use for your public discord like that
Fantastic comfy games for late nights committing unspeakable war crimes. My only gripe is there is a lot of backtracking in levels, especially when you are done a level and have to get to exit, normally it's not too bad but in smaller slower vehicles like infantry mechs getting around is a massive chore.
>Got this game as I loved futur cop LAPD,
>It was shit.
amazing how literally all of this is wrong
Well this fucking sucks, gauss was great and I don't know how involved he was in the development of BK and if that game will turn out the same.
Trannies and tranny sympathizers ruin literally every Discord server, there's a reason why Discord is associated with them.
>I PLAYED A FUCKING SUBMARINE SEWER SECTION WHILE THE APPARENT WOMAN OF MY DREAMS READ HER AUDIOLOG OF HER GETTING HER NAZI BABY ABORTION LIKE IT WAS INCREDIBLY EMPOWERING AND I AM SUPPOSED TO JUST EAT THIS FUCKING ROT BRAIN EURO TRASH
What game?
While I understand is suppose to be easy and arcady, I wish maps had different objetives instead of just destroying the anti-space guns, radar, power plant and VIPs every mission.
Wolfenstein New Blood. The weird one with two women that flopped.
Looking back, I'm kinda happy that the only controversial thing my favorite indie dev did was be autistic about torches.
Makes sense. I skipped that one.
Honestly, that was the only thing he did wrong. Apart from bowing to the outrage trannies of course.
The game definitely needed more variety when it came to objectives. I hope they address that in Brigador Killers.
>cucks out
I'll be sure not to buy the game then. I'd support him if he stood up for himself, but if he'd rather crawl on the floor and lick their boots, then he'll just have to cross his fingers and hope the camp he has chosen treats him well (they won't).
What were they going to do? Whine on Twitter? Does anyone believe that this would in any way have impacted sales? If anything they'd go up as retards who don't play games make a ruckus and bring the game to the attention of the people that do.
>campaign is a tutorial in disguise
>every enemy can be destroyed before it got a chance to engage you
>I said, stop shooting and stomp the houses, fucker!
Enough elaborated?
that's not somethingawful, it's badgame dot net which is a spinoff forum
Left their server 1.5 year ago. I've said to my friend that this was gonna happen given the amount of mentally ill people there that get triggered at slightest provocation.
I fucking called it, sadly.
>every enemy can be destroyed before it got a chance to engage you
well someone didn't play the latter levels and someone most certainly didn't try to do missions with smaller loadouts
I will now buy his game
forget it
Brigador would be a lot better if it had the random weapons and items like synthetik or the ability to buy, sell and customize vehicles in between missions like armored core.
>GAUSWERKS IS DEAD
>STELLAR JOCKYS MUST FALL
>DO YOU ACCEPT YOUR CONTRACT Y/N?
Why should I play a boring game until the very end?
I agree, and I guarantee you with opinions like his he'd want to do the same thing. But look at it from his perspective. Fighting it might have consequence for already insanely small dev team (who are also his friends) and could jeopardize their already hyper niche game. I don't agree with what he did either, but he honestly made the more selfless decision - that is unless the other devs decided he needed to bail to save face, otherwise THAT would be cucked.
Plus the coming Mandalore review will guaranteed bring them more attention, and having this happen right before it would just draw more people to the freshly made shit heap.
>calls the game too easy
>retract from even trying to play the hard parts
If this was a false rape accusation, I wouldn't agree with him bending the knee, but talking about wanting to fuck baby fetuses in sewers is a hard thing to come back from, so he made the better call.
