She's peak gameplay and peak QoL letting you easily three turn loads of quests.

She's most useful with the big AOE Quick servants like Valks, Parvati, JETS, and Dantes.
She can turn pretty much any ST quick servant into a monstrous boss killer, but a lot of the harder story bosses from here on out come in pairs or trios just so you know.

Yeah just one isn't gonna give your servant enough quick up/crit damage to reliably NP loop.

The engine update is pretty damn nice, yes.

Skadi's good, but mostly just a meme for farming. She doesn't have the all-around fantastic utility that Merlin has and if you're not pulling at least a break bar's worth of boss health per turn with your buster gorilla set up, you're probably doing it wrong anyway.

No she didn't. She speeds things up but nothing you couldn't do before, plus you need specific high NP level servants to really do it well.
Merlin and Hero Creation was insane at the time and could pretty much turn normal buster cards into NP level damage with crits. Bosses were essentially made trivial until they made break bars and other gimmicks.

She speeds up farming, Merlin is still the most broken unit in this game, and was infinitely more broken when he released than Skadi is when she does

Isn't the only setup that truly trivializes the game NP2 Dantes and double Skadi with all skills maxed? Hardly the most accessible cheese.

I feel the same, Skadi feels like death weight after she uses her skills (her np isn't that good), with Merlin you want him to stay alive for the invincibility or his NP, plus his crit up works with all cards instead of just quick, so he can work with other servants beside buster memelords.

He also just has more support combos he works with.
Using Merlin and Waver, I can get Jeanne Alter's buster crits to hit for more than her NP does. Merlin even synergizes with Slut Fox stall strategy Arts teams.

Yeah, at NP2 with a MLB K-scope and the harry potter uniform. Lancelot has always had ass NP gen.

Because I only started playing in October and the price I pay for 21 SSR's and Saint-tier luck is that my SR roster is somewhat lacking.

What Iphone are you using? Mine is an old-ass 5S and it ran FGO pretty well even before the engine change besides some crashes after playing for some time, but I never had loading issues or awful lag during battles/NP.

The stream yesterday had the FGO Producer tell NA to look forward to the 25th as it is the third year anniversary so we might get our celebration on time for once. It doesn't really make sense to delay it for Anime Expo since it isn't happening this year.
