I absolutely hate all the money collecting in 2 desu. P8 is better than AW in both campaign and it's arcade. AW feels like you're on a singular carrot on a stick the entire time, you never leave tutorial mode. It's arcade mode has too many revisits and not enough new.

I disagree about 2 but I can buy the AW criticism.

Play 3, but play the good version (PS2/Cube/Xbox)

1 should be essential, but if you started with 2/4, playing without manuals might feel rough. It's still a tight arcadey experience, if you can get into grind-only combos. Combos aren't actually necessary, you can get every high score tape with vert if you use all the grabs

The gameplay is identical to THUG 1. The only difference is the storyline is filled with inane VivaLaBam and Jacakss garbage, and the maps are filled with non-skating horse shit made to progress the non-skating missions. Its a legit criticism and its why its shit. Its a poorly crafted Tony Hawk game, and its a poorly crafted Jackass game.

I was a jackass and vivalabam fan, and I was an IRL skater but hated it when it came out. It holds up so poorly I cannot believe a single person is acting like its good or that OP would like it.
