Metzen is the one that drove Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo into the dumpster in the first place, you blind fucks. Literally the George Lucas of Blizzard, he may have had some good ideas in the past but as time went on, it's blatantly obvious that he was just riding on the backs of others and when left to make something good on his own, he destroyed absolutely fucking everything. Sadly, yeah. Although there were some good (and often niche) ideas that are either had a lot of potential or actually good. Even in Battle for Azeroth, surprisingly enough. I don't think I can say the same for Shadowlands, but that expansion doesn't look like Warcraft anyway.

Well... Metzen is a nice guy, but I would kind of agree with that. Old Blizzard didn't really bothered when it comes to continuity in World of Warcraft. They never really tried to write something good.
They'll rather do some retarded shit like Shadowlands (again) than reboot everything. Plus, I just wouldn't trust Danuser and current team behind Warcraft's story/lore to create something deceit and actually related to Warcraft.
