I recently started playing it again for the first time since release. It's honestly a good game. I don't like the combat all that much, but the story I played, Imperial Agent, was very good and had some really hard player choices. Though it really sucks that the planet stories and smaller side quest never have any effect on anything beyond the quest itself or a chain of quests.

I remember all the things with Revan and The Exile being completely retarded, but I don't know what they did with that seeing how they made an entire expansion about Revan.

I played the Jedi Knight back when it was new and liked it. It was like a different sequel to KOTOR 1, but not nearly as good as KOTOR 2.

I've started on a Trooper now, and it seems like a fairly good Mass Effect 2-like story. Essentially what you'd expect from a Clone Trooper/Clone Commando RPG with simple gameplay.

I played BH at launch and I enjoyed it. The game was fun but they just rushed it I felt. Also compared to SWG before it got cucked, swtor is an okay MMO. Overall I did enjoy SWG, but would rather have a sand box Star Wars mmo like swg where Jedi was hard to obtain

It's made a "profit" but a billion revenue over its lifetime isn't great. It was at the time the most expensive game ever made, it's marketing budget was $250 million on top of its dev costs. Then, as a live service game, dev doesn't just stop, patches and content are added and require a live team and ops estimated to have a $20 million burn rate per year.

Consider that on top of going free to play with a shop, a subscription fee for core players, and paid DLC/Expansions, it's clear that the game has been under performing since launch. It's not literally bleeding money, but there's a reason it's never hyped up much in investors calls.
