Halo leaks

Before Infinite launches, there'll be a 3 hour CGI movie depicting the events of the previous mainline installments, planned to be released on Netflix and YouTube.
Infinite will run at 4K, 120FPS, Ultra high settings on XSX, and 1440p, High settings, 60fps with RT enabled. The Xbox One version hasn't held the game back, but it's noticeably worse looking, running at PC "Very Low" settings, and runs at 900p/30fps on base Xbox One hardware. It was developed first and foremost with next gen in mind (they used PC hardware as a basis for the compute power), so the Xbox One version is more like a XSX port to Xbox One, rather than vice versa.
The gameplay is similar to Halo 5, but most of the Spartan abilities have been removed. Only thrust and clamber have carried over. New abilities include crawling, hanging off ledges, and dual wielding.
The campaign features massive 5 way battles, between Marines, Banished, Covenant, Prometheans, and Flood. Yes, all have been redesigned to a more classic art style.
No microstransactions, progression is similar to Halo Reach along with armor customization.
There'll be a beta in August, and the game launches in November with the XSX. The PC version won't launch until December.

>no microtransactions
Uh huh

>no microtransactions
Ah hah

>Infinite will run at 4K, 120FPS, Ultra high settings on XSX
The game is gonna look like shit if it runs at 4K 120fps

>no microtransactions
Eh heh

This sounds great but 343I has never delivered anything other than shit so OP is lying.

so basically its Halo 3 but newer. I'm ok with that.

> 4k
> 120 FPS
> Ultra High Settings on XSX
You don't even know how funny that is yet. Newly reformed Consolefag here I am telling you to expect 2k 60fps AT BEST on XSX and with no raytracing.

mhm hmm, right, right...

OP here. It'll also have a shit story and shit gameplay like everything since 2012 so don't get your hopes up.

>3 hour CGI movie
based

>crawling

since when was dual wielding new to Halo

OP here again. Sorry I lied.

>The gameplay is similar to Halo 5, but most of the Spartan abilities have been removed. Only thrust and clamber have carried over. New abilities include crawling, hanging off ledges, and dual wielding.
Fake, get out

Damn, I wish this was true!

If they retcon Halo 4 and 5 into something that feels more like a proper continuation of Halo 3 it might be good, otherwise it's a complete waste of time

>No microstransactions
ooh hoo

this. but the muh cortana plotline will definitely be still in

>No microstransactions
yeah ok. 100% bet they have a battle pass too.

>Infinite will run at 4K, 120FPS, Ultra high settings on XSX,
[doubt]

>Before Infinite launches, there'll be a 3 hour CGI movie depicting the events of the previous mainline installments, planned to be released on Netflix and YouTube
i know this post is bullshit because that would be fucking sick

>4k 120 fps

imagine unironically believing this

3 hours of Blur CGI is too good to be true unfortunately.

>dual wielding
>massive single player battles like Halo CE campaign
fuck all i need to see now is an overhauled matchmaking reveal like Halo 2 got at E3 2003 and im getting this xsx bullshit day one

I mean have you played Titanfall 2 on steam recently? It reaches that level with the right hardware and it looks amazing for a modified source engine game.

I know it's fucking bullshit, but what would happen if Microsoft actually announced halo to be a 4k120 title
What would be the reaction?

its an in-house engine on hardware that pc doesnt have yet. guess we'll see.

I too like making up shit and posting it on the internet.

>crawling
yep that's a fake

You know damn well they're bringing back warzone and microtransactions

Fake leaks are the worst

Daily reminder that the entire continent of Africa is glassed in Halo 3 and within 10 years there have been huge jumps in both technology and productivity to point of being able to produce, staff and stock the Infinity.

>Infinite will run at 4K, 120FPS, Ultra high settings on XSX
More like terrible looking upscaled 1080p, 100fps in menus on High settings. 30 fps RT enabled if upscaled from 720p

Hijacking this thread since I don't really want to open up a new thread for it.
I just started playing through MCC and started with CE. I've never really touched the series outside of a bit of splitscreen over at a friend's house so I don't know shit. Are the campaigns generally supposed to be so incredibly repetitive and boring? So far I finished the library and most levels were basically all about going through the same repeating corridors, fighting the same shit over and over. Both the initial Halo landing mission and that other beach mission seemed to be the only ones that didn't really suffer from this.
Are the other campaigns any better? Or, at least less repetitive?

proof?
3 hours film, no microtransactions, and the massive war seems really good

Halo 1 has the most "repetitive levels" of all games.

>30 fps on xbone

please no....
