If they weren't old then sure, but they would struggle to find actually bad content on the quality of stuff that used to exist. The days of camcorder lps are long gone I'm afraid. The main problem is Slowbeef and Diabetus grew up and started families etc and at a certain point being 35-40+ and still making fun of children isn't really a great thing.
Their King's Quest and Dark Seed playthroughs are still goat though.

The quality of the average "Let's play" is nothing more than slightly edited live stream footage at this point. There's only so much you can even rip on nowadays, and even then all they'd be doing is stirring the shit pot.
I used to do to LP's back around the time they still made videos, and after watching them I built such a high standard of quality that it just scared me out of LPing entirely.

They were only self proclaiming as the first "internet Let's Play community" on SomethingAwful, but according to YouTube records, Chris-chan's Animal Crossing LP came before The Immortal LP by a few months. Even then, I was one of those kids with a VHS that could record RWY connections to the TV, and I recorded my first LP of the Lion King for SNES when I was 9 with my sister. They weren't as good as our talk radio show recordings, but they were still video game commentaries.
