just replayed Fable. I heard this game will have time travel and other weird shit in it? Is it so hard for them to just have a normal fucking plotline?

Jack of Blades is my favorite villain in western games. Dude's so by-the-book, but he does it so fucking well. TLC was kind of stupid, but he was still a fun final boss. That mask is so fucking cool too, and it's the only edgy thing I'm not ashamed to like.

I was fairly young when Fable was first anounced, so I had not wised up to how the industry worked yet.
I spent 5 years on the Lionhead forum. Watching as it evolved from the greatest game that would ever be made, into a sad shadow of broken promises and crushed hopes.
When it finally came out I was already jaded and expected nothing, I was still disapointed.
At least Molyneux tought me a lesson that I never forgot. And I have never gotten hyped for any games ever since.

Tbh the Kinect fable game FUCKED the story.

Skill cooldowns would suck, but we already lost mana earlier in the series, so if it means I can use the highest tier of magic without charging for 30 seconds I won't be too upset.
I'm more worried about the lore and writing.

Fable is like the series the most untapped potential ever. I hope they do something with it.

Go back and play it, tlc isn't as good as you remember. It's still serviceable, but there are clear problems. Fable 2 was different, but I remember it being fine, though since it's not on PC I can't replay it.
Fable 3 is irredeemable trash though.
