Practice mainly. You'll have to learn the waves and position yourself well. Spark shot is great for the tough enemies. RPG I would only use on large groups, same with the gas tanks. The default pistol is good for like the first 50, but it quickly becomes useless afterwards. It takes a few tries.

Mostly been working through DMD on DMC5 lately. Spent some time beating Prologue Urizen on SOS and DMD first so I could get EX Vergil before I finish.
