PC bros, what controller are you using?
my wired 360 keeps switching to player 2 and it's busting my groove, so I'm looking for a good alternative
PC bros, what controller are you using?
Replaced my dying PS4 controller with an Xbone controller and it's really comfortable but I'm a bit annoyed at how light it feels, I'll probably get used to it
Xbone. I liked the 360 controller better but the analog sticks get creaky and weird on 360 and the Xbone ones have held up better so far. they also felt slightly more precise to start with.
a ps3 controller
because it never broke and the thumbsticks haven't gone bald
an xbone controller would be like 5% better but I don't care enough and only play about 1/3 games with controller
Xbone controller.
Switch Pro is good but kind of pointless. It's what I use, but I've heard XBOne works the best especially if you aren't using Steam.
to switch to player one keep pressing the xbox logo i think?
happened to me once i think that's how you fix it but i'm not sure
Doesn't work.
It actually seems to be a problem that's existed for at least 5 years and the only solution that has worked for me is restarting the god damn PC.
THANKS MICROSOFT
My rabbit chewed up one of the sticks on my switch pro so a dualshock for the time being. The switch pro really is the best controller out there though.
it's great
ds4
great for when I'm emulating something and I need to use the mouse
Your only hope is the Xbone. I'd recommend 360 (batteries) or Wii U CCP if they were still in stock. I feel the wired 360 controllers fuck up more than the battery ones.
I use a PS2/Gamecube/Xbox One/Steelseries Free interchangeably depending on what i play.
Swap between xbone and ds4.
If I had to choose just one I'd go with the xbone.
DS4 because DS4windows is the best controller utility to ever exist.
I mean Wii U Pro Controller, sorry. Wii U CCP is soishit.
I use a PS3 controller however apparently you can use the switch controller? Bought one the other day and I'm getting used ot, I'm liking it so far
i use a generic dualshock usb pad, with joy2key
>can't find any 360 controllers any more
AHHH WHY DIDN'T I BUY SOME WHEN I STILL HAD THE CHANCE
Does this have an xinput mode?
try uninstalling the driver for the controller and then restart so the new driver is reset as player one
The original Elite I owned didn't last long. The sticks were already fucked from poor firmware implementation, but also the sticks drifted less than 3 months into use. The rubber handles also began to stretch and lift out of position and left the grips with loose rubber flaps.
What controller isn't fucked then? Why is all the modern shit so fragile and shortlasting?
You know the answer already
just get the xbone controller...
X1 controller is objectively the best. It took awhile for me to get used to it after the 360 for ages but in the end, it really is better. The bumpers and triggers work better together, sticks are a bit longer so you have more range and the D-Pad is obviously the business. The pack with the adapter is also relatively cheap.
Only for fighting games maybe kek
>wired 360 keeps switching to player 2
don't buy wired controllers, they break fast because of constant bending
X1 also uses batteries. X1+Eneloop is god tier.
Whoever designed that portion of the cable that connects to the controller to perfectly destroy itself over a few months by simply placing it on a desk deserves to burn in hell. Even my old ps2 controller outlasted this piece of shit.
>more than twice as expensive
oh shit you're right, damn i remember paying 35 for mine a few years ago, wtf happened?
but is it cheaper than $50?
Love this thing.
