People just don't like Google. Zig Forums was sucking NVIDIAs cock dry when they announced GeForce now. Doesn't help that Stadia's instance specs are dogshit compared to next gen consoles.

I personally play it almost every day but my situation is unique. I travel quite a bit for work between major cities where I have basic apartments. It's a hassle to carry a ps4 or gaming PC, I have a Logitech gaming laptop but I usually prefer my MacBook pro because I also have to use it for work and I would rather not have a giant, green glowing laptop on a conference table.

Stadia works well for me because of this, and I get premium wifi at airports so I can usually play there too (hotels are a bit more iffy, sometimes it works mostly it doesn't)

I haven't traveled because of shelter in place but I still find myself playing stadia more just because I have so many games on it.

there's gonna be a big push for it sometime in the future for sure, i can think of several companies that are probably already drooling at the prospect of people not being able to tamper with their game files in any way whatsoever

Those companies will make their own streaming services instead of putting their games on Stadia. Why bother giving google a 30% cut when you can get all 100% instead.

I hate the idea of streaming games instead of owning them, I wish this shit had never been invented, I hate all the streaming services, I hate Netflix and Spotify, why can't we just download files and keep them in neatly organized folders like we have always done, I hate this general trend towards streaming and away from files, the computers of the near future will be like fucking smartphones where you won't be able to directly manage your files it will just be a bunch of retarded flashy apps.

When different branches of the same parent company do business with each other they still get paid as if it were any other costumer. Of course it's just shuffling money around the same company but it's still done mostly for accounting purposes.
