Just started playing Link's Awakening today

Shame about the performance issues, I dunno if they're less frequent in docked? Aside from that though very comfy game, I prefer it to the GB original so far, I was never a big fan of games with scrolling screens and the new graphics look really cute and faithful to the original imo.

Started Xenoblade 2, but I have no clue what to level.

Further adventures in overclocking. Here's what I've found out today

>Ys VIII
Handheld mode has some kind of sharpening filter and shimmering in the backgrounds that makes even an aggressive GPU overclock not worth it, but if you keep the CPU lower and then overclock the GPU, it sticks to a solid 720p. A CPU/GPU overclock in docked mode locks the resolution at 900p (upper bound) and eliminates all frame drops I've come across.

The way I've been checking for dynamic resolution is by aggressively underclocking the GPU, screenshotting, then overclocking aggressively. There are so many games that use it.

Hack your switch so you can overclock bro, docked mode with a CPU/GPU overclock fixes it.

Is Luigi's Mansion fun I've got a 12 hour train ride and want a new game to play

>tfw have to turn screen brightness all the way up to play during the day and it drains the battery super fast

I got a switch to play animal crossing (I'm not a big gamer). Can anyone recommend any other games? I've already played botw on the wii u and link's awakening on the gbc recently or else I would love those.

Fire Emblem Three houses if you like those sort of games.

The go-to Aegis sword setup is Anchor Shot for the heals and later the topples, Double Spinning Edge for the dual hits which doubles the chances of triggering crit recharge and crit heals later on and Rolling Smash for aggro management.

Don't worry which you level up first, you'll get enough weapon points to level them all up anyway.

playing a lot of smash ultimate still, other than that tetris 99 and travis strikes again.
looking forward to catherine full body

Thanks, this looks great. I think I'm going to get some old FF games as well as I saw some got released on the switch and people always talk about how great they are.

tetris 99, raiden V director's cut, astral chain, street fighter 30th anniversary collection, smash ultimate

Anyone else playing Hakoniwa Explorer Plus? Been addicted to that between doing dailies in Animal Crossing and Salmon Run in Splatoon 2.

>What are ya playin?
Started Xenoblade 2 the other day, voice acting is really getting on my tits, but the gameplay is interesting

Also got the remastered sponge dude game for my Wife, she's loving it so far

The new Deadly Premonition, and maybe getting some cool ports (Halo, Persona, Mario 64) Though I'm doubtful of the ports

Just bought a Switch Lite with BotW two hours ago. Been curious about the game for years, but somehow never really liked the regular Switch. I have enough consoles / PCs at home, and it seemed unwieldy in mobile mode to me. The Lite fits just perfectly, and I care only about handheld anyway. Really looking forward to the game (and indie games on the go!).

I'm checking out to see what Ninjala is like. It seems fine, nothing great though.

Get off Zig Forums and go enjoy the ride fren, BotW is a joy to explore (Dungeons are pretty samey though)

after the recent Star Wars ports, I'm at least somewhat hopeful of getting ports of the classic Battlefront games and Knights of the Old Republic.

You can download the Japanese voice pack for free if you prefer subs. I personally think it's a lot less grating, especially on the constantly repeated combat one liners.

wtf Link Awakening has issues docked?
I'm hacked but don't want to OC

fucking nothing

this system is a meme, having a good year followed by absolute shit is unacceptable especially now that all their teams are focused on a singld platform

anyone can recommend me some alternative joycon? the drift start bugging me and i'm blind with nintendo stuff.

>anyone can recommend me some alternative joycon? the drift start bugging me and i'm blind with nintendo stuff.
I got a mayflash usb thing and use a Dualshock 4
gyro works
rumble works
I'm good

Yes.

I might need to, I was a little annoyed that it doesn't give me subs for when they speak in the overworld, but would be worth it to not hear "Lets teach them a thing or three" for the niggzillonth time

>fucking nothing

Unfortunately I can't really argue with you on that, we got a fun little Duke Nukem port but really nothing of note in a long while

>the drift

If you live in USA or UK you can get it fixed for free

>If you live in USA or UK you can get it fixed for free
sadly no, my local gamestore offer me to fix it around $7 dollar but i'm searching for another opt like this guy

Literally same just bought a switch lite cause Ive been itching for a handheld experience after my last one was the SP. I dont feel like Id enjoy the motion controlled gimmicks so I opted for that

>I was a little annoyed that it doesn't give me subs for when they speak in the overworld,
if you watched your 10 years of anime you can probably guess what they say

can you? I hope at least

Just got a dockable switch finally this week by following gamespots availability tracker. Grabbed smash and Mario Odyssey, been having the time of my life with Odyssey. I have about 450 moons so far, I don't think I'm gonna try to go for every moon just since there's been a handful of annoying ones already but still I'm having a blast

About to download the demo of Brigandine.
Any of you tried it yet? Good?

>can you? I hope at least

I can pick out a few different things like when they say each others names. I've been thinking about learning Japanese but don't think I'll ever have the money to go there

>smash and Mario Odyssey
Good picks Fren, I'm hoping the rumors of the old 3D Mario games getting remastered are true
