That's because people cared more after being invested through the 3 games and being led to believe the endings would have more granularity. TLOU2 just shit over the fanbase and then spat on it. At least Bioware released DLC to try salvage the situation, however futile it was.

A lot of people 'defending' the game's merits are just as bad as the haters. They don't even know why they like it they're just parroting what other people are saying about the game.

We'll have to see, still too early and the sales aren't particularly impressive if Sony wants unrealistic sales numbers. I said it before, this game won't sell anywhere near what the first one did unless people get that desperate for it to succeed they start buying multiple copies of the game.

No. People believed there would be endings that took into account all the actions people made througout three 50+ hour games and got disappointed when they had to choose from 3. It was a storm in a fucking teacup. ME3 had one glaring problem - the shitty joural. That's it.

Oh right, duh. That's less blatant but still pretty shitty. Naughty Dog actually changed in-game cutscenes to try and entice you with what would probably have been a better story though, I think that's quite a bit worse.

Abby sections made it worth it. Pretty fun and the story was decent minus the Owen shit. I like it
