I was playing EO5. Took a break from it and went back to it. My 3ds now keeps crashing randomly, saying the battery is dead. I can't deal with losing progress like that, so i had to shelve it. I don't know if it needs a new battery or what.

I finally went and cheesed the superboss of V and now I'm starting a fresh run on it. Fencer (going for links), Dragoon, Pugilist, Warlock, and Shaman. Healing is awkward and Medica costs add up fast. I'm also occasionally working on the postgame bosses of III. Just Anemone, Dragon God, and Alraune. And Abyssal God, I guess, but that fight just looks like a chore.

Actually, let me append this. As far as I remember, Drake is the only enemy where that really matters. I believe you can go through the normal game just fine, just expect to be cockblocked by Drake if you decide to push through the postgame.

I want to complete every EO, but I restarted EO1 and I just don't have the heart. Made it to Fenrir and realized I still don't understand how the Skolls work, and I don't feel like learning the pattern.
I feel like i did this the last time, but i could test it. All i remember for sure was that it had just been fully charged and the light was blue. The time it happened before that, i didn't know the status of the battery, just that it was blue. Then it turned red so i had some time. Then it died within a couple minutes of turning red.

Fafnir comes online on his own through upgrades in story mode, so he ends up being retarded no matter what. You can either make him an elemental or physical attacker but in the end it boils down to whether or not you want to have further offensive synergy with Arianna. Force gain related passives become good because the entire point of this class is to enter henshin as much as possible. If you want him to get even more retarded then simply stick a max level Ailing Slash grimoire on him and use Flavio's ailments.

My 3ds does pretty much the same thing, if I leave it off the charger it barely lasts 5 minutes. It works fine while plugged in though so I just use it like that. I got asked about etrian, but I was a little upset when the only options for "which etrian games have you played" were 5 and Nexus

Bravery is that good shit, especially for a team that already has a Protector and Medic. Shelter is good but you don't need it with Immunize.
Divinity is great.
Recovery is good if you don't have better options to deal with status. I think Erasure was good too, but I don't remember well.
Relaxing makes exploring much easier.
