Game is out, are you playing?
Ninjala
Yeah but getting the academy every time is complete cancer.
I played a couple of matches.
Boring as fuck, and the graphics and presentation are just terrible, compared to splatoon.
I am glad the game is free and I didnt have to pay a single cent for this. But I can some poeple liking this game. I just dont enjoy the fighting mechanics.
been playing all day
About to play some, can't decide what weapon to use.
I was hoping there would be more maps. Two maps are ridiculous, especially when they already have a stocked up cash shop.
Advice on how to not lose literally every fight?
Every time I do the RPS I guess wrong and die.
After a while I just stopped trying to get into fights altogether.
Free to play put me off of it. I would rather buy a complete package than have my desire for customization be exploited by microtransactions.
Don't do the RPS. Just break people when they parry or dash out of it if you miss the break. Try to approach fights with stealth, gum shots, gum guard, specials, etc to give you an advantage instead of attacking head-on.
Alternatively, get a big weapon early and unga as hard as you can because you'll win 2/3 RPS options against a smaller weapon.
try to gum them or weapon break them instead of doing the rps, you can always dash out of it if you do get in and want to leave though.
Don't mash, time your hits.
If you clash and win you can wait a split second ot seeif they put their parry up indicated by them glowing purple. If they glow use your crush attack (R button) to wrap them in Gum and get a free Ippon.
Be a Ninja and try waiting for an opportunity instead of just rushing in. Shooting Gum at a distance before going in is a viable strat.
If you're low health you can Ninja Morph for an increased healing regen.
Jump-Dash then Jump-dash works as a Quadruple jump for sick distance especially if you add a Gum Dash after.
Watched a bit of gameplay, but I'm gonna wait a short while so that any major bugs get fixed. It's the day after release, after all. Also, are hammers bad? They seem to do no damage compared to all the other weapons.
God i'm so fucking sick and tired of WNA Academy. I only got to play Eagle City once and that was in a team match.
Hammers are Noob slayers and has a decent gimmck with super armor after an Ippon and weapon break skill. Because, you're slow with this weapon and are suspect to Gum attacks.
Seems to be the only arena for quick match mode.
Which hammers? The answer is no either way, but the SK8 can kill in two hits with side > jump cancel > up and Noise can just keep using up without letting the opponent burst.
Played for two hours this afternoon then uninstalled. Maybe the sword is the most boring weapon to use but I have little desire to start it up again to try something else.
Sword's great, you have a lot of flexibility in your combos if you dash/jump/special cancel and mix gum shoot in.
Good god episode 3 of Van's story is impossible to gold
Sword fucking sucks, the hits feel weak and the kit as a whole isn't that fun to play, if you only played the sword for two hours you're stupid, I switched to the drill ASAP.
Whats the best way to level up the battle pass? Does ranked mode give any extra points for it?
>Does ranked mode give any extra points for it?
seems like it
The game gives you Ninja Missions which are tiny objectives for you to complete while you play, there seem to be an infinite amount of them and they always give you big exp toward the pass.
Don't worry, Eagle City does appear...well, it appears every once in a blue harvest moon anyway.
I was in love with the corn bat at first but every other time I try to use the gum dragon, it gets interrupted. Even if I just knocked someone back, they can dash at me and cancel it because the animation takes an eternity to finish and you can't combo into it, so it gives people time to recover. Even when I think I'm in the clear, the slightest AOE effect can graze me, and there goes my cooldown. This is some horseshit.
Been playing all day. I scored a double kill with my "Tried to base it on John Ward but I'm a free plebian" ninja.
Yeah and i would say that Ninjala is the Schindler's list of multiplayer games
God I fucking suck at this game
I have but being a F2Pfag seems like suffering. I just want the full suit from the beta.
there's a one time purchase of 500 jala for $1
but to get a season pass or whatever it's 950 jala and you can nly get a max of 300 jala so you'll be short 150 jala
is there any other way to get more jala without having to buy the $10 pass?
does the story mode give any jala? it says it gives exclusive rewards, what are they exactly?
we got 100 jala free in the inbox and we'll get another 100 soon to celebrate a million players.
>is there any other way to get more jala without having to buy the $10 pass?
Wait two months for the Season to be over then get the next free set of Jala
No I ignore free to play games
God the hammer is such a fucking shitty weapon, its entirely completely useless
meanwhile i got 8k points and first place with drill sword, i hate swords damnit
Are you jump/dash cancelling your combos into it? I haven't messed around with dragon too much yet but it seems pretty bad if it can't even get guaranteed damage. Maybe using it in neutral would be better since the homing is ridiculous and it can't be blocked?
we'll still be 50 jala short, since you can get 200 jala with no pass 100 in the inbox and apparently another 100 soon
does jala expire or only in Japan?
i swear to god i collected a ton of v-bucks in fortnut come back to it months later, and end up with zero
Hammer's great, just counter attack bro. Your side attack has a guard point and you can jump cancel into up for an easy 2-hit kill. Just don't use the wide attack unless they're weapon broken or gumbinded.
I dont really understand this games, things sometimes combo and sometimes dont and you get fucked, i dont get it, how do i know what actually combos
wait until you face a sushi hammer, drillie
Playing around in training mode. Generally the last hit of a combo move like up (or down for hammer) can't be followed up on unless you're a katana/drill, so you need to dash/jump/special cancel it to keep going. Otherwise, people can mash dash and get out of the combo.
