Because they're unrealistic. Men have way more testosterone and hemoglobin than women, which makes them better at aggressive, competitive, and physical actions. And women have wombs and a 9 month gestation period so they're less biologically disposable. There's a reason men and women's sports are segregated and 99% of all military/soldiers throughout human history have been men. Pretending otherwise is delusional. Excepting the facts of reality isn't "anti women". The "strong female character" is just baseless propaganda. I don't like how everyone pretends there's no differences between men and women when there are so many facts to the contrary.
Also, they're so overdone nowadays. I actually used to love strong female characters when I was younger and they were novel. Now it's like every other character is a SFC and/or a lesbian and it just gets tiring.

I don't like strong women in any medium whose personality boils down to them autistically screeching "I AM STRONG WOMAN".

Most of the time "strong female characters" are not written to be appealing or interesting. They're an attempt to score woke points. They go out of their way to tick as many boxes as possible on the feminist writing checklist and don't even bother making sure the character is still compelling to players at the end of it.

They don't have to, because now they can just accuse people who don't like their boring character of being misogynist. And that's the modern industry in a nutshell. Like our game or you're guilty of thought crime. Companies don't have to try to actually write good characters anymore, they just appease the right people in the media with political pandering and then demonize anybody that criticizes them.
