The one on the right is Tangle the Lemur. She has a very stretchy tail as a super power. She has ADHD and inappropriate reactions to danger. Her and Tangle are good friends.

The anomaly is that all three of those were made under SEGA's thumb, meanwhile the FF's come from the wild west days of early Sonic. Even if they wanted to use them, they only own the characters and not the designs, which require more inconvenient work.

Never going to fully happen. Sonic's fandom is irreparably split across a dozen groups, which is why the mainline games are in such a tight corner as it is even when Iizuka or Kishimoto aren't ruining things themselves.

The other is Silver's idol (and future top-dom), came from a MGS-inspired group before their spy betrayed and killed them, and uses Wisps in an all-purpose weapon. Attitude is basically super shy-but-stronk and "don't anger her".

I'm actually fine with the era segregation. Modern Sonic is incompatible with the spirit of the classics, it's its own thing and should embrace that to make fans of the new shit happy. The kinds of things that piss the SA2 crowd off is interesting to say the very least.

Not sure I agree about Sonic being that high, especially given his lack of reaction to anything bad that happens to him.
Also, I can't believe they recharacterized Nega to be Silver's main antagonist instead of Blazes, then have only brought him back in the Olympics.
