Game is good but... Everyone play it the same way. Multiplayer is too random to let anons cooperate in sensible way. Plot is closed and straight forward, so no room for fan theories. There is literally nothing to talk about.

To a degree walking around was comfyqnd social stranding system was kinda cool, like building highways and stuff. Overall it felt just running from cutscene to another. 3/5

Zig Forums is a bit more willing to try experimental games regardless of reception so you're bound to get the occasional game thats not particularly cared for by common people but liked by Zig Forums

Even if it had been a steaming irredeemable pile of dogshit, It would still have my respect for actually taking chances and experimenting with gameplay. Every other big budget release has totally unoriginal cookie cutter ass gameplay, even if its incredibly well polished.

this pretty much i have respect for indie devs and kojima only pretty much now games are too cookie cutter and bland nowadays
kojima always got his weird shit with experimenting down so usually i enjoy his games but zoomers will call his games basicly movies because they happen to have cutscenes that can be long but forget theres literal games where they're interactive tv shows and movies where the only things you can do is walk and choose if someone dies

druckmann has done 2 videogames, and 1 was good. kojima has mgs1-3 that cements him as legendary status, and 4-5 were good games despite the narrative issues. death stranding is very good as well. literally no comparison between these two people.

not to mention what druckmann cannot even pander correctly while kojima stays to his own anti war belief and sticks to it

I see a lot of comfy/chill threads on here, clearly a decent majority of the board enjoys winding down every so often and playing games that don’t revolve around action/killing people. Death Stranding is peak comfy vidya in this regard, despite its flaws
