Are you playing on a 10 year old TV not on game mode?

187ms. 30 years old.

I think they kind of monitor you'd have would matter here too.

Could be input delay/Screen response times heavily skewing your times

On my phone, i did have to hold down and then retap for the first test

I think my actual reaction time is lower and I'd get a more accurate number if I repeated the test enough to make the click completely instinctive. I got one reading in the 230s so my reaction time must be 230 or lower.

I don't know if it means anything, but I did it 10 times and it was EXACTLY 200ms or 300ms every single time.

These tests really aren't an accurate representation of vidya reactions

What is then?

playing an actual game. this test is like playing DDR on 8x speed with no volume. not a completely useless test but it's not how you play any game. games have sound effects and targets and maps to help you anticipate what's around the corner. being good at a game is a lot more than reaction time. this is a twitch test and as most people said already, your monitor probably has a huge impact on results. an audio cue would help flatten the curve a lot

This is what really matters.

I feel like I did alright, not sure though

nah i lost on 12 first try. wasted a life because i didn't know how to reset so assuming i didnt do that i would have died around 13-14 too. it wasn't so bad. i wouldn't want to keep playing because who gives a fuck

post your boomercore games

Reaction time is less important for video games than you think.
My reaction time is fucking terrible, and being the same age as you, I can actively feel it slipping away by the year, yet I'm still better at playing video games than I have ever been.

Your monitor makes the difference. I got 164 on a standard 60hz monitor. I don't have a gayming monitor but just overclocking it to 80hz increased my results.
