Oh well. I liked a lot of the non-vidya girls. Zone and Ruby from RWBY were in every single one of my games.

characters typically get removed only if they don't meet a higher standard of writing and character interactions, like lets take a look at Velma, everyone from scooby doo was removed, but she made it back into the roster with more lines and better kisekae animations than before.

another example is Sayaka from Madoka who is currently on the testing table again after being removed, while i can't say HOW all of this is decided because i don't go to reddit or the discord server. but characters are typically removed either at request of the person who made them, or the character doesn't match whatever counts as the quality standards.

as someone that plays this shit one a month or so and doesn't try to keep up with all the changes, its really overall alot better than it used to be in the past unless you just really wanted meme characters, then your out of luck because its trying to actually be sexy.

this was literally the reason why GPM was removed, hell any of the original series characters that are still in the game are in because they got reworked to have ten times the amount of lines, characters these days have over 2000 different lines reacting to other characters and situations with some even having over 5000 lines for those special autist's who really put in the effort .

compare this to the original run of 100-200 lines there really isn't any doubt which is the more enjoyable product.

its not like they were just gone and replaced with nothing, go ahead and tell me which characters you honestly missed so i can understand where your coming from, surely you can name 5 or 10 if you really cared.

so yeah its basically a handwave and nobody really enforces it seriously.
