Just to log in.
I have to re-install steam every day
Well that's interesting. I've never heard of anyone having that kind of problem. I guess your computer is fucked.
sucks to be you I guess
This is clearly on your end. Never heard of that problem before.
works fine on my RIG
buy a new MACHINE
works on my machine
>he turns off his pc
works on my machine
So let me get this straight. Every day, Steam loses the ability to connect to the internet, until you reinstall it?
Have you considered the possibility that your firewall or some overzealous anti-malware garbage you installed is blocking its connections? If that's actually the problem, then don't even fix it, just go back to consoles.
Truly a tragedy
pm'd you the fix ;)
What kind of puke software would block Steam? Even Mcafee wouldn't go that low.
Squeeeeeeeeee that was it, thanks user.
pmed you the fix
Fucking windows defender goddamnit sack of fuck. I would've never thought one day I'd have to turn to the chans for the simplest advice.
I should kms myself.
Windows Firewall/Defender
your fault btw
let me guess Epic Games connects just fine right? fuck off shill
It got really stuck today, so I was told to delete some of the DLL stuff and random things in the root folder then it would re-download them. Totally worked for me, try that.
that's a cute .gif
lmao
if this isn't bait then I'm glad I could help
I got that message in the morning steam is saturated with that sale. It works later.
>be pirate
>PC will of viruses
>WHY DO I HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS?
Seems like downloading all those repacks isn't paying off in the end.
backuip your files (not Steam files ofc) and reinstall your OS
You either have shitty internet or a shitty rig.
Get a new ISP or buy/reset your computer.
That doesn't fly in 2020. Get your shit together.
I've actually had the exact same problem lately.
Edit: Fixed now.
sounds like a windows issue faggot
Epic Games Client doesnt have this problem, i just log in. Verify my social credit score, and play 15 minutes of approved video game play, then go back to work.
is there a reason not to?
if you have an ssd and you put your pc in sleep/hibernate you're retarded.
Did you ever try to look for a solution instead of doing that
