hes been playing on real machines for a while and he's been getting scores on real machines while being watched that are higher than the MAME score he submitted. so if he can do that it doesn't actually matter if at one point he used mame for a high score. all that actually matters is now he's able to get even higher on real machines.

He submitted MAME scores in the range of like 1,050,000 or 1,060,000 or something. Now he's proved he can do 1,092,000 on a real machine.

No it isn't. They removed his MAME submissions. The real submissions are obviously accepted. Billy is a weird case because he both cheated and also beat the record legitimately.

So it's like, you can't throw out the actual world record just because it's also someone who has cheated at some point. He's a cheater who also happens to hold a real high record. Not the highest, but it's up there.

Motherfucker, he literally streams Pac-Man perfect scores on his Twitch channel every other day, he was the first person to ever achieve that perfect score right in front of Toru Iwatani, Pacman's creator. He also achieves insane DK scores in the Chicago Festival every year. He is not like Todd Rogers, he can achieve everything he said he achieve in public.

I think its based that he's hitting high scores and making it on news sources.

To be fair the entire thing seemed sketchy from the start. "Hey give me money so I can sue this guy for defamation". I don't have sympathy for anyone that gave Apollo money and the fact that he doesn't seemed bothered by the strikes and the potential termination of the channel, as well as his eventual posting by the speedrun community tells me this asshole was planning to run with the money. He saw Billy break his fake records live on stage consistently and saw the writing on the wall. His YouTube career was done and he wanted to run off with as much money as the Simps would give before letting it all burn away.
