Is it a masterpiece or is it overrated?

Well the use of colour is fairly standard, the pose is acceptable and the anatomy cant be faulted, despite clearly being emphasized in some regions.
The durability system is poorly implemented and punishes using your weapons.
Enemy variety is sorely lacking, which is a shame because lynels were a nice idea and could have been expanded on with regional "elite" enemies rather than just different flavours of lionman.
120 Shrines may seem impressive but the content itself is repetitive and uninspired. 3/10
Better than Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword, still one of the 10 most overrated games of all time by far and objectively doesn't belong in any top 50 game list even if it was solely related to Nintendo games
neither
it's a template of ideas that only exists so the sequel can iron out what worked and drop what didn't
Are artists still drawing Zelda with a big ass or did the fad die out?
It's a pretty solid game but
>97/100 masterpiece
I don't see that at all. It's one of the weaker Zeldas, in fact it barely is a Zelda game at all, at most I'd give it a 90/100 for making the huge open sandbox meme into something that resembles actual fun.
I want to get a Breath of her Wild, if you know what I mean.
Coffee sucks; tea is better.
The most overrated game I have ever played, no question. First 10 hours or so are great, but the further you go the less there is to do, the more the game repeats itself, the more tedious it gets.
BoTW is a masterpiece, indisputably. Post more zelda
BRRRRAAAAPPPPP
Only issue is there is no home only version and as a result game lags at areas and obviously doesn't have a lot of what they said because the switch can't handle
still fun.
I'd rather have pretty good looking game that is fun and let's me fuck around and explore at my pace.
Rather than a gorgeous game with smooth transition from cutscene to gameplay, but a shitty story and no freedom with only drawers to explore
Yep but because it's got a Nintendo sticker on it soi bois lose their minds.
This
It does a lot of stuff right
>Combat
>Exploration
>Brainlet survival mechanics
>Puzzles
>Physics engine
>Puzzles that use the physics engine
Weapon Durability breaks game flow horribly though
As someone who just wants to go around killing enemies, its annoying when I find a Lynel in the wild and I have no weapons left to fight it.
I dropped the game for that reason.
It's a stupid good game for all intents and purposes, but it's far from being a masterpiece.
I really would have liked it if there were more unique weapons/gear
that's half the reason I play Zelda games
It's absolutely shit. You just run around a huge empty world, collecing Korok Turds and doing a bunch of Shrines, which each hold exactly one puzzle that feels like it has been designed by a retarded child.
Upgrading armor seems pointless as the game is piss easy even without upgraded armour
Pause game to heal sucks
Side quests and shrines only rewarding you with a bunch of materials you could have gathered literally by hitting on a rock makes them feel pointless
Weapons feel pointless due to the durability system
There's not enough enemy variety
Those animal dungeons feel like a shitty trade-off for actual dungeons since they can be completed in 10 minutes each and pose no difficulty
There's no items to find which actually improve the gameplay, such as the hookshot. At most you'll get a piece of armor with some passive ability, which sucks.
>posting the shitty western redraw
Fuck chink virus we could have possibly had botw2 news
My butt is not big.
The weapon durability system just makes it so I keep hoarding all the good weapons, never pick up shitty weapons to not waste inventory space, and kill everything by spamming bombs.
Disagree, BotW is only better than Wind Waker as far as 3D entries go.
what if there were no weapon durability, but you still had a small complement of different weapon types that were each better used on different enemies
Master Sword would be a nice catch-all that would be moderately effective against all mobs but critical/required against Evil monsters
But those are the two best along with Majora's Mask. 3D Zelda dungeons bog down the experience. Less has been better
I prefer his body inflation stuff, but this is still sexy.
I got banned last time I posted this image
Overrated. Outside of having Zelda in the title of the game, I fail to see how it isn't just yet another open world game with fuck all to do
We are at an impasse then. I think dungeons are the best part of Zelda, I very much prefer the focused level design/puzzles to the comparatively middling overworld exploration.
They need to go back to the LttP style where it's about killing the enemies until one drops the key you need. BotW's Hyrule Castle is more fun than any 3D Zelda dungeon
Why do people draw her with this disgusting overweight cellulite ridden arse? It's not attractive.
Adult portion of OOT>Everything else>Child portion of OOT
Why not?
Hyrule Castle is a high point for the most part, its only flaw being that you can completely gloss over exploring it far too easily. I really don't care for that sort of design, I like what the divine beasts tried to do and had a set of puzzles you can solve in pretty much any order before moving on to a boss. I would've loved to have reached a number of sections on the edges of the castle that needed to be interacted with before taking Ganon down but as is, it at least marks the game's best attempt at genuinely rewarding curiosity. Too much of BotW jerked off to the journey to the detriment of the destination IMO, there's some stuff but I would've loved more on par with Eventide Island or Hyrule Castle.
That ass looks gross
