Can you Joelfags think outside of the protagonist narrative for one fucking second. Abby's father was killed, her BIOLOGICAL father and not some smuggler who grew close to a little girl after a few months wondering across the country together. Abby is the same age as Ellie, so she was 14 when her father was killed- that's 14 years with her father compared to months Ellie spent with a smuggler. If you feel for Ellie, then you should have even greater feelings for Abby.

I think Ellie and Dina are only going to be cameos or referenced in future installments. Sequel will likely focus on Abby or Lev.

she was an abandoned child that found salvation through love that afterwards lost. she also lost her humanity for a while. a character is not a number of traits but the imprint that the story leaves on them. Ellie is a great charater

we know for a fact that the Fireflies were more than competent in their ability to extract her sample and produce a cure, and we also know that this fact makes faggots seethe. It's pretty hilarious.

If you actually care about these characters then playing the second and/or hoping for a third is just about the stupidest thing you could do. All the sequel does is kill Joel and ruin the lives of Tommy and Ellie, why would someone who likes these characters want that?

Abby goes to Catalina Island and Ellie wanders off to fuck all but I don't see their narratives ending here. I feel like there could be a situation where they cross paths again but with a different understanding of each other, both of them being well aware of how their environments created this friction between them, and reconciling to a point since ironically, Ellie does technically save Abby and Lev at the end of the 2nd game. I feel like there's more to flesh out there since for many people who like the story overall, may have perceived that the ending of TLOU2 didn't provide enough closure.

I don't really see how they could explore Abby/Lev's relationship much further. There's nothing really controversial like there was with Joel/Ellie and the lie about the fireflies.

I disagree completely and feel like the sequel did an immense service to Ellie and Joel's characters. The ending to Tommy's character is fairly tragic though, but he had a sordid past like Joel so it was going to come back one way or another.

I guess maybe if the fireflies are regrouping they could take another shot at the cure putting Ellie back into the picture. And Ellie isn't exactly wondering since it's heavily implied she reunites with Dina.
