Very, but you wouldn't know because they do fucky things with the matchmaking. Where they won't show you all the hunts taking place, only a select few from your near region.
You won't have issues finding hunts to join, but you might have issues finding specific monsters. Unless you're after the newest content.
Don't buy it unless you buy the expansion, though, because the base endgame is pretty dead.
