Lmao fuck off its 3

What's the point in being a contrarian when it comes to a series as niche as this? It's okay if your favorite is a "boring" choice, there isn't anything wrong about that. You don't have to pretend.

Even when it has an inferior powerup system, an unbalanced battlechip library, and an ultimately shallow story?

I believe you're the contrarian for being biased against a duology with plot elements of great depth and a strong central theme.

Fact: you have autism

3 is overrated and it pisses me off
>gay annoying bosses like bubble man
>stupid shit like press and engychng
>literally impossible to complete if your friend doesn't have the opposite version because of retarded pvp chips
>fucking STYLES. Awful. Literally no reason to ever have anything except CustStyle except the one time you switch to TeamStyle to finish the Chip Library. On top of that they take way too fucking long to change and needing to grind 300 battles for BugStop or fucking whatever is a whole ass chore and you'll probably only ever see two before you beat the game completely unless you go out of your way to grind and the random elements are annoying

6 is the best and there will be no more discussion

I have to agree with George here.
5 is really under-hated. The SRPG system was poorly implemented, the post-game is horrifically bad to the point that it makes 1's look good, and chip grinding is the worst it ever was. I could not finish the game's library legitimately because a certain green mystery data REFUSED to spawn the correct correct chip that could only be gained from that GMD or the chip trader.

2 is better purely because it's almost as mechanically competent, has great scenarios, more content than 6 (which was a bit anemic, let's be honest), and a good chip library.

2 > 6 =/> 3 > 1 > 5 > 4

6 > 2 > OSS > 3 > 4 > 1 > 5

>3 is overrated
>the game that introduced forte.exe
yeah, no

>the game that introduced forte.exe
SOMEBODY didn't complete 1 and 2.

6 is too easy to be the best one, as much as I love it. It also has too few dungeons and puts all the bosses as optional fights.

That would be BN2.

What is an urban poet/watermelon enthusiast doing in Nippon? Thats not their natural environment.

>4

bait

BugStyle would be cool if the style system wasn't such a bitch to begin with. If it was handled like armors or crosses it could have been real slick. Grinding to change it should have been solely for elemental affinities, with an option to turn those off.

That's a plane, asshole.

>Chances of a BN Legacy Collection are above 0.
>Chances of it being better than emulating the games is infinitesimally small.

>tfw Battle Network will stay dead

It had enough games, let it rest.

Opinion: You are insecure.

4 sets up for 5 with its modified Navi Customizer and its Double Soul system. It also emphasizes skill and methodical execution over mindless spamming with its limited chip pool and decreased chip codes. All of its seemingly disconnected scenarios come together with the presence of Duo, as the one common root cause they have is the dark desire of humanity: evil.

Someone asked for where they brought up the rules of never having clothes on Navis, and I found these from the official works

Battle Network collection when.

And subsequently how this rule was broken to make Forte's iconic navi design

>All of its seemingly disconnected scenarios come together with the presence of Duo, as the one common root cause they have is the dark desire of humanity

now that is some reaching.

OP's a faggot. Though, he seems a little more massive than usual.

Are you implying that 6 is any better?

We deserve a collection at the very least

>inferior powerup system
Styles are superior
>an unbalanced battlechip library
It's a single player game, and 4 and 5's are unbalanced in that they are weak garbage. There is no variety in combos or builds in 4 or 5 because most of everything is worthless, just airhoc and gundelsol spam with no other options
>ultimately shallow story
No megaman has a deep story, but 1-3/6 were entertaining instead of cringe like 4-5. muh darkness is not deep, and it's not even a strong theme when most of the game is an unrelated tournament arc which consists of random fetch quests and bad minigames

5 is the best one but 4 is absolutely garbage. How does anyone even like 4?

I'm partial to BN5 because the pseudo-strategy element was the most interesting the combat got even it it's not particularly deep. Getting other net navi's was also more novel than just having style changes but you also got those too.

>I gave him a cloak because it's cool
god bless

Honestly pretty based. Makes perfect sense for Bass to be an outsider designwise.

4 is goddamn horrible
5 is pretty good, the souls were great in general and chaos unison was a fun way to integrate dark chips into folders without fucking yourself over. Sad that the sidecast we all knew and loved got fucked over by being kidnapped in 5 and then you move out of ACDC in 6.
