Anyone played Maximum Action or Get To The Orange Door?
Are they any good?

I'm still confused. You want a game that gives you a 'little woman experience"? If so i need clarification on what that experience is like.

>disappointed with Project Warlock
>Ah, thanks bro. I was on the fence anyway
it's a fine game. i enjoyed it but it isnt on the top list of doom/quake clones.

Also i got roughly $8 burning a hole in my steam wallet. Help me spend it.

Is the spongebob game any good? thinking about getting it and something else to get the £5 voucher

>Maximum Action
is pretty good. itls like FEAR, True Crime and Super Hot had a baby and it grew up in the 80s

It's a near perfect remake of the original. that means it have the level design, combat and controls of a Gamecube 3d plat former. if you like those them go for it

how is it content wise right now? I was tempted last year but heard it only had like an hour and a half of stuff to play

other thread already up

i havent played the last couple updates. but unlike most EA game sit's price isnt $30. for the price they are asking i say it's worth it. liquidate some steam cards and go from here.

that's the DQ thread about not buying DQ ports during the steam sale

>Maximum Action
Amid Evil and Dusk are roughly the same price on sale.and they arent in EA

but I have already played those :(

there is always Project Warlock. It's mor eof a standard Doom clone but it's $7.

nothing, my toaster finally gave its last breath in the best time posible and i probably wont be able to make it work or build/buy a new one till october/december

Lord Gaben giveth and taketh away.

Is Long Gone Days anygood? i feel like it's been in EA forever

rate my cart

>Stardew Valley
better than Animal Crossing thats for sure
>Hellsinker
never heard of it
>The Memeing of Isaac
>Castle Crashers 4 pack
based.

Anyone remember playing this on the ps2? If so, you're in luck because it was ported to PC back in 2017 and is on sale right now for like 3 bucks.
Underrated action-adventure. Really well done port. Great game.

anyone got anygood coomer games?

hope the people you are buying castle crashers for will play through to the end. ive done things like this before and got bailed on.

i wouldnt play binding of isaac until the new dlc comes out

there's ANOTHER dlc coming out?

Dmc5, risk of rain 2, and rise of the tomb raider (this one funded by trading card sales)

Which one of these should I get?

Is Arkham Knight worth getting or is it still a buggy mess?

Picked up Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy and Risk of Rain, is Catherine good?

yes, and it's made with the help of a guy who made a fan mod that was much better than the latest DLC

Back again for another year! If you're looking for some /m/echa gems this season, give these a look!:

>MASS Builder ($21.24)
A gorgeous looking 3rd person shooter/ hack and slash game with the most customization options I have ever seen in a game period. It's an early access game so the devs are still regularly working on it, but right now most of that customization kind of feels meaningless in terms of effects on gameplay. Excellent to jump in and build something cool looking though. Free demo too!
store.steampowered.com/app/956680/MASS_Builder/

>The Astro Saga ($13.93)
A collection of 5, yes FIVE shmups and shmup/platformer hybrids if you're looking for an arcade styled game fix this season. They're simple and quick if you want to pick something up and blitz through a game every now and then for fun. Overall a pretty nice deal, just be warned not all of them have controller support.
store.steampowered.com/bundle/12969/The_ASTRO_SAGA__7_Game_Bundle/

>Vox Machinae ($13.74)
If you're looking for a Mechwarrior title that isn't a soulless cashgrab or paypig hell this game might be worth checking out. Has some customization, but it's mostly limited to weapon loadouts on your selected mech frame. Features both online and offline modes to play around with and has some very nice VR support, but you don't need a VR set to play. (pic related)
store.steampowered.com/app/334540/Vox_Machinae/

>Meta Wolf Chaos XD ($12.49)
IT'S PARTY TIIIIIME! The shitty controls the rare original xbox game had are fixed in this port, but sadly it lacks inverted. It's a pretty challenging third person shooter type game without chest high walls and can get a bit repetitive, but maintains its challenge. Also has 4K support, but unfortunately the graphical overhaul it got took out some of the grittiness and charm IMO.
store.steampowered.com/app/820630/Metal_Wolf_Chaos_XD/

Attached: Vox Machinae.jpg (1920x1080, 390.16K)

>Hardcore Mecha ($11.99)
It's a 2D platformer shoot-em-up that has finally received a long awaited translation and release. Sadly a lot of the sizable cast is behind backer codes you have to use to unlock the mechs. That are only usable in vs multiplayer or survival. The missing modes have slowly been added at least and despite the hiccups it's still pretty great.
store.steampowered.com/app/746580/HARDCORE_MECHA/

>Garrison: Archangel ($11.24)
Basically the unintentional unofficial spiritual successor to Custom Robo/ Virtual On. It boasts quite a wide and meaningful selection of customization options and tech to learn. Features quite a few game modes including a campaign and multiplayer, but netcode is kind of bad so you'll have to use Steam Remote Play for decent online. The gameplay takes some getting used to, but it shines in duels once it clicks and has a lot of depth to explore if you dig in. Also its got a free demo. (pic related)
store.steampowered.com/app/682450/Garrison_Archangel/

>Titainfall 2 ($9.89)
Made my the original COD guys the focus on this game maneuverability and speed while racking up kills to summon a pilotable mech. The customization is barebones, but it works great and has online that's still shockingly active for a 4 year old niche FPS. You'll get your asshole torn open, but that's how it goes. Still requires Origin and an EA account though... Oh and there's a single player campaign too.
store.steampowered.com/app/1237970/Titanfall_2/

>Project Nimbus ($9.99)
A stylish high speed anime influenced mecha game with some minor elements of bullet hell. Very fast and frantic, but the lack of customization options and arena is something of a downer. The game originally launched 6 years ago, but the devs still provide updates from time to time.
store.steampowered.com/app/257030/Project_Nimbus_Complete_Edition/

Attached: Garrison Archangel.jpg (1920x1080, 441.29K)

>War Tech Fighters ($9.99)
It's a slightly more simplistic version of Project Nimbus with a bit more focus on melee elements more or less. Customization is sort of lacking here too, but for a grand scale mech warfare game with some great graphics you could do a lot worse.
store.steampowered.com/app/630030/War_Tech_Fighters/

>Brigador ($8.99)
A sort of hotline miami type affair of explosive violence and solid world building with mechs and other vehicles you use to blow up enemies and the environment to your advantage. The gameplay is good, but the lore is what makes it. Aiming can be a pain in the ass sometimes.
store.steampowered.com/app/274500/Brigador_UpArmored_Edition/

>Zone of the Enders the 2nd Runner: MARS ($7.49)
Yes, ZoE is actually on Steam as a 4k port. Offers a good blend of melee and ranged combat in a tight story driven chuuni package. Also has barebones VR support for a cockpit view. The game has audio problems including totally dropping out at times and a bad english VO with no Japanese option. The controls can be a pain, but if you want a nostalgia trip it's ok.
store.steampowered.com/app/650510/ZONE_OF_THE_ENDERS_THE_2nd_RUNNER__MRS/

>Break Arts II ($7.49)
If you wanted to mix robots and racing, then this is the game for you. Featuring some outstanding eurobeat like music and ultra high customization means you're in for a pretty unique and challenging experience. Just be forewarned that customization can be a bit overwhelming and you'll need to meticulously fine tune for the best results. (pic related)
store.steampowered.com/app/547360/BREAK_ARTS_II/

>Into the Breach ($7.49)
A turn based strategy game with a mech theme from the team that brought you FTL. Has some upgrade and customization options that can lead to interesting strategies. Protip: Don't mess up.
store.steampowered.com/app/590380/Into_the_Breach/

Attached: Break Arts II.jpg (1600x900, 409.5K)

>Override Mech City Brawl ($5.99)
If you've got some friends and loved the old Godzilla party brawlers this is one to look into; but you might have problems with finding players online. Like every single other mecha game really...
store.steampowered.com/app/709440/Override_Mech_City_Brawl/

>Damascus Gear Operation Tokyo & Osaka ($2.99/$3.99)
A diablo-like mecha game with decent customization in it and a passable story. Combat can be kind of repetitive and at it's core it's a pretty simple game despite its customization options. Has a sequel now with some notable improvements if you want to spend a bit more.
store.steampowered.com/app/648630/Damascus_Gear_Operation_Tokyo_HD/
store.steampowered.com/app/707350/Damascus_Gear_Operation_Osaka_HD_Edition/

>Mecha Ace ($2.99)
A text based adventure; game dev simulator Zig Forums's favorite. A somewhat linear story with a few branches and a skill system, but your choices have more impact than mass effect at least. If you're a fan of old school text adventures it may be worth a look. It's got a free demo as well and what looks to be a VR focused tie-in in development.
store.steampowered.com/app/318330/Mecha_Ace/

>KO Mech ($0.49)
A simple platformer type game with the gimmick of flinging enemies into one another. Somewhat short, but pretty addictive. Also it's made by someone who shitposts on Zig Forums and for half a buck it's worth selling a few cards and picking up for the absurdly good cost to entertainment ratio. No reason not to get it at this price. Character can be hard to see at times however and some may find the controls odd. (pic related)
store.steampowered.com/app/862770/KO_Mech/

And that's all for now. Hope you guys find something great to play and love!

I got Noita, Cloudpunk, TABS and Outward so far.
>Noita
I recommend it for anyone who hasn't got it yet. It's great and would be perfect with overhaul mods like the way oldschool games like Soldat and LF2 did.

>Cloudpunk
To me it seems really good aesthetic-wise, it really nails the cyberpunk atmosphere and music, but the gameplay so far has been mostly walking sim.
There's been more walking than driving but that's just because I'm an autistic completionist and I focus on picking up shit
My gripes for this game is the humor and repetitiveness, as well as few nitpicks like the rain effect being glued to the camera (it makes first person look worse as the rain follows your view = if you look up or down, the rain looks like it's going sideways.
Also the reflections trigger me as they're not reflecting naturally, but instead they reflect some base image of the area you're in.
Normal people probably won't notice these things but for me it's annoying.

>TABS
I don't know what I expected.
It's fun for like a few campaigns and then the novelty wears off.
There's some strategy involved but in the end it's mainly just a wacky randumb joke game.
It's worth it for it's pricetag but other than that, I really wish it had more gameplay variety like customizable AI or different gamemodes.

>Outward
This would probably be one of the best RPG games I've ever played if it was more fleshed out.
It feels unfinished, and some people who have the DLC say that "this is what the game should have been like originally"
I don't have the DLC so I don't really know, all I can say is that from my experience the base game is VERY barren when it comes to questing and objectives.
To me, it has mainly been an exploration game, and I like it.
For it's price, $16 sounds about right, the original price was $40, and the dlc is $20, which is kind of outrageous from my perspective, but then again I can easily admit I've managed to pull 100 hours of entertainment from it before I burned out

Is it good?

>Vox Machinae
this one looks pretty cool. I refuse to buy early access but i'll keep an eye on it.
