Maybe I'm too autistic for this, but I don't quite understand the concept of cringe. Why would I care that someone else is doing something dumb or embarrassing?

It's awesome.
The European and Japanese ones look better, but I guess they had to pander to nostalgia, so the US got the piss ugly version again.

Tons are available through scalpers and resellers at an elevated price.
They're objectively good controllers and worth having, but paying more and from asshole scaplers is up to you.
