What was the last video game you beat?
how did it make you feel? and when was the last time you felt something after beating a game?

Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
Goddamn, what an amazing game. I started to lose a little bit of patience at the end, I'll admit, and wanting to just get to the end after being put through such a gauntlet, but it was amazing beyond belief, especially for an SNES game. Beyond that, though, I'd say the game that rattled me the most after beating it was still Persona 3 a couple years back.
Keep your eyes open.

just finished e.y.e divine cybermancy with the 3 endings. it's insane how much people overlook the whole negativity cycle message behind the game

Sonic adventure steam port with quality of life improvement mods and Dreamcast conversion
E-102 still makes me cry.

Dark Souls 1 blind.
I was hesitant to play it for so long because the fanbase for it is cancerous, but holy shit. literally the best game I've played in years. The ending of it actually made me feel awe for the first time at the end of a probably since undertale genocide. minus the guilt of course.

is that the persona that just came to PC?
also why does no one give a shit about shinmegami tensei?

Beat Uncharted one a couple days ago. Last time a game made me feel something was Bloodborne, I never touched Souls because I don't like hard games and years of watching playthroughs was off putting. Turns out, these games aren't that hard at all, and I gained love for a new genre of games.

Shantae and the Seven Sirens. I needed a good sexy, cute metroidvania and which is not pixel with a good soundtrack so much I've 100%ed it.

The last game i 100% was cuphead during containment. Expert rank S and P everything

Primordia, few weeks ago
Felt weird playing as narrator from Bastion but the narrative, the atmosphere and the characters were lovely

FFVIIR. I need more of it....

Divinity original sin 2. It was great because it has been a while since I played a nice long campaign of DnD with friends and it felt like an accomplishment finishing that adventure.

No, no, that's 4. 3 is from the PS2, Persona 4 Golden is for the PS Vita [thought he original Persona 4 is also from the PS2, I haven't played either yet, I'll get around to golden at some point]
And hey, don't look at me, I also think SMT deserves more love. Though if I had to say anything as for why people might not be so openly receptive of it, at least going by Nocturne, which I TRIED playing but got sidetracked by other things, maybe it has to do with the exact reason why Persona was created in the first place, to be more structured and attractive and provide more of a "hook" for general audiences. From what I remember, from the start of Persona 3 you kind of already have a hook, you're a kid in school but also you're involved with this shadow hunting business your dormitory members are dealing with. Nocturne, it felt like much more of a cold open, what I can remember is that the game starts, and then immediately the world apparently ends and you're more or less just roaming through it without quite as strong a motivation to.
Not saying I disliked the game, though, and maybe my memory is just spotty, and I still really want to get through Nocturne once my backlog clears up, it was fun for what little I touched of it.

Dragonfall, but it was my fourth time through. Last new game I beat was probably Ace Combat 7, and I loved every minute of it.
If we're talking ALL vidya then the real last one I beat was an eroge.

>Palm clips through the glove
Literally how do you fuck that up?

Final Fantasy VII.
Remake prompted me to replay the original (haven't played Remake).

Enjoyed it way more this time because I wasn't switching Materia around to always have an optimal setup and instead just built "Jobs" for my character

Detroit : Become Human, and fuck you I liked it.

Tifa kicks ass to the point she shreds through gloves user.

Unironically Death Stranding
That game was incredible and cozy AF

>What was the last video game you beat?
Mass Effect 2
>how did it make you feel?
Meh
>and when was the last time you felt something after beating a game?
After beating Witcher 3

Arkham Knight. God Id love to be like batman. Billionaire and beating up low life's. Be amazing

The last game I finished was dragon quest xi and it made me feel like that image. I fell in love with the cast and the game was so beautiful to look at, as someone that had been a die hard dragon ball fan as a kid seeing a game so perfectly capture toriyama’s artwork filled me with pure joy. I haven’t finished a single game since and I’m not sure if it’s just the depression or me just falling out of love with the medium but every game I think I would enjoy I just have trouble finishing and it sucks

Nobody's gonna shit on you for liking the Hank & Connor stuff, at least.

helltaker.
I enjoyed myself.

Nier Automata.

Same. It's been weeks and I still think of the last segment.

wonderful 101. the final act of the game is bogged down by two space harrier segments and the final fight has a very shitty escape section beforehand but that final sequence and QTE made it worth it in the end. i have not been that satisfied with a game's finale in a long time

Fire emblem Gaiden.
Happy that I reached the last map to hear the song and see that IS did a good job with it in the remake.
Digimon adventure because nostalgia

>when you no longer find any joy in video games

Drag on Dragon 3: Fuck those 3 final inputs
Was mediocre, and I wish the core combat systems where great instead ob barebanes and just barely functional.
It gets some value for the harsh language and themes, but in the end its just 3 actual people for the entire plot.

Dark Souls 2.

Resident Evil 5. I'm glad it's over. On to 6.

This week I've beat
>Bioshock
>Halo Wars
>Halo: Reach
I'm playing Bioshock 2 and Halo: CE atm.

>Bioshock
Society works a lot better when we each work towards our own self interests, and don't care for others at all. Each of us create a situation where we're happy and our dreams are fulfilled. Society rules itself. No Gods or Kings, only man.
>Halo Wars
Probably my favourite RTS campaign. It's easy, it's not got a lot of variety, but I really love each games level structure. I had some OH FUCK YOU moments, but I didn't mind replaying a level or two. I've not played Halo Wars 2, so I hope it's as great. I really loved the personal struggle that Forge had, saving his girlfriend from the Arbiter and sacrificing himself to give humanity a chance in the stars.
>Halo: Reach
Absolute fucking kino. I remember this game being pretty awful, but I guess that was just my 15 year old memory about the multiplayer. So far, Halo: CE isn't holding up twice as good.
