Which zoomerQuake is best?
>Iron Fury/Maiden
>DUSK
>Amid Evil

yeah it's fun. kind of clunky, but solid.
don't like the artstyle in the one after it tho
Buy my wife's game
r8 me m8 e
I have $10 left
Just bought Onirism and Little Witch Nobeta
Any other cute and funny games I can squeeze in?
Any graphics demanding games that are worth looking into?
fuck off pedo
Play Earth 2150.
Probably dusk, but they're all worth a shot honestly.
been loving this game, Gujian 3.
I would say Underrail is my top pick for anyone looking for an RPG/turn based game though. Do be aware it's a combat filled dungeon roam. It's got a story and a pretty good one, but you won't be Bioware buttfucking dudes or making le ebin witty dialogue choices.
I feel there's a catch for it being free
What’s the best Ys game on sale right now?
Fatal bullet is fun, just be aware it's a bit of a jank port. Menus don't support mouse at all.
rabi ribi
normalfag
based or cringe?
Note Gujian3's always-online DRM with server-side saves.

Check out Recursed

Dont bother with TWD S2. S1 is great and works perfectly as a self-contained story, then 2 shits all over it. It's the Korra of adventure games.
Heat Signature
>have to make an EAaccount for origin for titanfall2
its the only EA game I own, thats annoying
EXPEDITIONS CONQUISTADOR $5 GREAT RPG GREAT WRITING UNIQUE SETTING
>Buying SP games
LOL
>he doesn't play apex
at this point you'd have to just be a contrarian
I know Bloons TD since the first 2 games, but its not exactly a extremely mainstream game and its -90%, not many good games have such a big discount.
you really like the big uppercase D aren't you
6 products, 9 Ds
Amid Evil but I say that as somebody that likes Heretic more than Doom/Doom II. It has the most creative weapons on that list though. I have the ULTRAKILL demo installed, gonna play that sometime.
Yup, it's a deal breaker for some people and I can't blame them. Do know that if you give it a shot, the game is great.
It's not open world, but more like FFX in how the world is connected via different levels of varying size and shape. It still hasn't felt like a corridor simulator, though.
Plus, it has top tier waifus akin to Dynasty Warriors.
Is it worth to acquire 2140 and 2160 aswell?
Carrion, Ghostrunner, Compound (VR), RE2, and RE3 all have fun demos.
Ultrakill on itch io has a good demo too.
don't forget how AI breaks above 30 FPS (not that they are good to begin with) and how the monsters develop instant laser precision death beams and your dodge won't do anything above 30 FPS.
test
is age of empires 2 good for single player only?
also how do I cross-link to a post on another thread on the same board?
I've heard Amid Evil runs on toasters, how optimized is it really? I don't care if I have to turn down some visual effects as long as I can see what I'm doing without the framerate shitting itself. The most demanding game I can play without issue is Killer7.
Isn't the Ultrakill demo on Steam too? Ghostrunner seems cool but I'll probably need to get it on console.
I actually can't say I've noticed any of those issues.
Now I'm worried I've been playing capped and somehow never noticed.
>onirism

If you're looking to add some /m/echa titles to your library I'd recommend checking these out:
>MASS Builder ($21.24)
A gorgeous looking 3rd person shooter/ hack and slash game with the most customization options I have ever seen in a game period. It's an early access game so the devs are still regularly working on it, but right now most of that customization kind of feels meaningless in terms of effects on gameplay. Excellent to jump in and build something cool looking though. Free demo too!

>The Astro Saga ($13.93)
A collection of 5, yes FIVE shmups and shmup/platformer hybrids if you're looking for an arcade styled game fix this season. They're simple and quick if you want to pick something up and blitz through a game every now and then for fun. Overall a pretty nice deal, just be warned not all of them have controller support.
store.steampowered.com
>Vox Machinae ($13.74)
If you're looking for a fresh Mechwarrior fix that isn't a soulless cashgrab or paypig hell this early access game might be worth checking out. Has some customization, but it's mostly limited to weapon loadouts on your selected mech frame. Features both online and offline modes to play around with and has some very nice VR support, but it's not required.
store.steampowered.com
>Metal Wolf Chaos XD ($12.49) [pic related]
IT'S PARTY TIIIIIME! As the president you need to destroy the country to save it. The shitty controls that held it back the rare original xbox game are fixed in this port, but sadly it lacks inverted. It's a pretty challenging third person shooter type game without chest high walls and can get a bit repetitive, but maintains its challenge. Also has 4K support, but unfortunately the graphical overhaul it got took out some of the grittiness and charm IMO.
store.steampowered.com
>also how do I cross-link to a post on another thread on the same board?
Just post the quote as normal, the board knows it's a different thread and puts the arrow in automatically. The only trick is cross-board linking.
>Ultrakill
idk if demo's on Steam yet.
Ghostrunner is prime super high FPS high fov game tho, aside from not being about precision shooting.
try buying a Zig Forums pass newfriend
They're not as good, but still worth a playthrough I think.
If you consider getting Earth 2140 then DO NOT buy the Steam version as it has a busted AI. They completely fucked up the game when porting it from Dos to Windows, the computer will sit inside its base doing nothing for the entire game. Get it from GoG instead and run the DosBox version as it's the only one that works as it should.
>Hardcore Mecha ($11.99) [pic related]
It's a 2D platformer shoot-em-up that has finally received a long awaited translation and release. Sadly a lot of the sizable cast is behind backer codes you have to use to unlock the mechs or via multiplayer progression. That are only usable in vs multiplayer or survival. The missing modes have slowly been added at least and despite the hiccups it's still pretty great.
store.steampowered.com
>Garrison: Archangel ($11.24)
Basically the unintentional unofficial spiritual successor to Custom Robo/ Virtual On. It boasts a wide and meaningful and decently balanced selection of customization options and tech to learn. Features quite a few game modes including a campaign and multiplayer, but netcode is kind of bad so you'll have to use Steam Remote Play for decent online. The gameplay and controls take some getting used to, but it shines in duels once it clicks and has a lot of depth to explore if you dig in. Also its got a free demo!
store.steampowered.com
>Titainfall 2 ($9.89)
Made by the original COD guys the focus on this game is maneuverability and speed while racking up kills to summon a pilotable mech. Very addictive gumeplay. The customization is barebones, but it works great and has online that's still shockingly active for a 4 year old niche FPS. You'll get your asshole torn open, but that's how it goes. Requires Origin and an EA account though... Oh and there's a single player campaign too.
store.steampowered.com
>Project Nimbus ($9.99)
A stylish high speed anime influenced mecha game with some minor elements of bullet hell. Very fast and frantic, but the lack of customization options and arena is something of a downer. The game originally launched 6 years ago, but the devs still provide updates from time to time.

thanks bud
Reminder to stop recommending pedophile games to people
Iron Fury>Dusk>Amid Evil
All are great though
it only really becomes an issue late game, but yeah, you're supposed to be able to dodge shit in that game, not have every enemy have god tier instant hitscan.
>War Tech Fighters ($9.99)
It's a slightly more simplistic version of Project Nimbus with a bit more focus on melee elements more or less. Customization is sort of lacking here too, but for a grand scale mech warfare game with some great graphics you could do a lot worse.
store.steampowered.com
>Brigador ($8.99)
A sort of hotline miami type affair of explosive violence and solid world building with mechs and other vehicles you use to blow up enemies and the environment to your advantage. The gameplay is good, but the lore is what makes it. Aiming can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Recent popularity surge due to youtube reviews.

>Zone of the Enders the 2nd Runner: MARS ($7.49) [pic related]
Yes, ZoE is actually on Steam as a 4k port. Offers a good blend of melee and ranged combat in a tight story driven chuuni package. Also has barebones VR support for a cockpit view. The game has audio problems including totally dropping out at times and a bad english VO with no Japanese option. The controls can be a pain, but if you want a nostalgia trip it's ok.
store.steampowered.com
>Break Arts II ($7.49/$10.00-16.60)
If you wanted to mix robots and racing, then this is the game for you. Featuring some outstanding eurobeat like music and ultra high customization means you're in for a pretty unique and challenging experience. Just be forewarned that customization can be a bit overwhelming and you'll need to meticulously fine tune for the best results. Also available as part of the Playism game bundle.

>Iron Fury
very polished build engine game
>DUSK
Quake gunplay + atmosphere of Blood + Painkiller aesthetics
>Amid Evil
Heretic/Hexen atmosphere. Quake 1 levels. Very colorful, no redundant mechanics
>zoomerQuake is best

Any recommendations for 20$ cdn and under?
Been eyeing eltie dangerous but it's sounding like there's not a ton of depth to it or the activities.
Bellow
I'm not buying anything this sale until I finish some games.
The sale finally motivated me to finish the last chapter of Tales from the Borderlands.
What a shitty game I can't believe people recommended it back then.

Are there any other notable shmups I could pick up?
>Into the Breach ($7.49)
A turn based strategy game with a mech theme from the team that brought you FTL. Has some upgrade and customization options that can lead to interesting strategies. Protip: Don't mess up.
store.steampowered.com
>Override Mech City Brawl ($5.99) [pic related]
If you've got some friends and loved the old Godzilla party brawlers this is one to look into; but you might have problems with finding players online. Like every single other mecha game really...
store.steampowered.com
>Damascus Gear Operation Tokyo & Osaka ($2.99/$3.99)
A diablo-like mecha game with decent customization in it and a passable story. Combat can be kind of repetitive and at it's core it's a pretty simple game despite its customization options. Has a sequel now with some notable improvements if you want to spend a bit more.

>Mecha Ace ($2.99)
A text based adventure; game dev simulator Zig Forums's favorite. A somewhat linear story with a few branches and a skill system, but your choices have more impact than mass effect at least. If you're a fan of old school text adventures it may be worth a look. It's got a free demo as well and what looks to be a VR focused tie-in in development.
store.steampowered.com
>KO Mech ($0.49)
A simple platformer type game with the gimmick of flinging enemies into one another. Somewhat short, but pretty addictive. Also it's made by someone who shitposts on Zig Forums and for half a buck it's worth selling a few cards and picking up for the absurdly good cost to entertainment ratio. No reason not to get it at this price. Character can be hard to see at times however and some may find the controls odd.

Have a great one!
