Xenoblade Chronicles 3 speculation

How would you feel if Xenoblade 3 was like Escaflowne in that it will be

an Isekai?

It is the most likely direction for the series to go, given what Future Connected was dealing with, and what has been already established in the series.

We already had one isekai Xenoblade and it was great, I don't see the harm in adding more.

I think going in a similar direction to what Chrono Cross did would be perfect for 3. The Fog monsters, or Agnosis as I'm sure people have started calling them, will likely be the big mystery. Creatures that might exist in the inbetween of universes and have been coming into the fractures that were left for various reasons. So the action can take place in a new universe, before they get sucked into XC1's universe, exploring the left over chunks of Bionis and it's new land masses, before the games climax and going to XC2's universe, to hopefully seal the crack and stop the Agnosis from getting in.

I honestly don't know what direction they'll take things in at this point, beyond it most likely involving the Fog Beasts.

I finished xc1 and I still don't get why they put naked shulk into smash

Only if we get a delicious reverse trap like in the game.

XC2 was technically an isekai

XC2 is the only one that doesn't have someone from earth ending up in a different world.

given all the shit we have to go off off, XC3 is likely going to take place in morytha

There we fucking go again
let me guess you're saying that shit because they used the model of a morytha monster for the fog king is that it

talk shit

well that's one thing yes, here are the others
>entire set up of savourites
>minos and aceceus, as well as many other things, introduced in siren model kit lore
>takahashi implies the next game will not be like the previous ones, including X

wait, that was a chick? i really don't remember that being the case in escaflowne.

not really no.

tfw no more mecha kino, all moeshit and shonenshit these days

Not from a genre perspective, but from a story-telling perspective, sure. Xenoblade 2 is basically the most generic Isekai story out there, but while not being an Isekai at all.

>Rex is super special and gets a huge harem all to himself
>Has next to no personality, despite somehow attracting 3+ women to his harem
>Everyone loves him, except for the villains, but he still tries to show the villains mercy because he's a worthless retard
>Defeatist when things don't go his way
> Never has any valuable insight, his party leads the way

It's got everything people hate about Isekai trash in it.

It's hard to make an interesting, original mecha story/manga/anime because pretty much all the bases have been covered thus far.

>Rex is super special
this is already wrong, he's a random guy

X was an isekai.

Hi

Most Isekai start with the protagonist being some random nobody, dying, and then becoming super special. It's like you've never read an Isekai

>It's isekai because I hate it and it's bad
O shit. I guess Call of Duty is also isekai because I don't like it.

Shitty analogy.

Rex is a little more special than just a random guy. He was raised by Seiryu, one of the four divine beasts and close friend of Addam.

XC3 be an actual gacha game. XC2 was testing the waters

that has nothing to do with Isekai, those are just standard shonen tropes. It's fine not to like them, but try to use the right words when talking about things.

>one of the four divine beasts
Random characters in 2 being named after the divine beasts doesn't actually mean anything. The characters are totally unrelated to each other.

not really, Escaflowne has a pretty generic story but its still an amazing show

idk maybe im just a nostalgiafag

XCX2 pls

Back off homo

fair enough, but it doesn't change the fact that he was raised by Addam's friend and is coincidentally the one who ends up fucking Addam's Ideal wife.

>one of the four divine beasts
I thought those were brighid, aegeon, dromarch, and genbu

How did azurda become his old self suddenly?
