No subways in Cyberpunk

Imagine putting subways in the majority of your advertising and not having it in the final game. Honestly was getting excited about this game but this makes me feel like it's not gonna be what is advertised.

Considering the game allegedly has "no loading screens except for initial load in and sleeping" I am not sure if I would want forced cutscenes just to fast travel. Plus it places more emphasis on the driving stuff.

you struggle op, just give up

Nigger, you're a fucking idiot.

Seriously ? People are really grasping at straws to shit on this game.

Just use the translation tool on chrome you tard

there is also loading during fast travel. Deus ex, watchdogs, and GTA all had subways in all their entries. At least they weren't a big part of their ad campaigns

>grasping
It keeps mailing straws to me

>No subways in Cyberpunk

Good.

wtf even is this game anymore...

How can there not be trains? TRAINS? FUCKING TRAIN? ITS A FUCKING CITY WITHOUT TRAINS.

>not knowing at least five languages

>even third world shiholes had subways 50 years ago

kek

There is an argument going on about this right now, and I think that Gamestar is at fault yet again for their autistic interpretation of what they saw. They first thought that you couldn't use the trains at all, and that this was because the trains were used to fast travel. Then they were told (you can see this at the top) that the trains aren't used for fast travel, but rather a travel kiosk similar to the road signs in TW3 is used to fast travel. They seem to think that you can't use the trains because you can't use them anymore without remembering that in the very same demo they played that they couldn't leave the district they were in at all. I suspect what's happened here is that CDPR just turned the trains off because otherwise then you could just get on a train and go to a different district. CDPR didn't say anywhere that they removed riding trains, just Gamestar assumes you can't ride trains because they couldn't in the demo and then mistakenly believed this was due to them being the fast travel locations.

>mfw A FUCKING CITY HAS NO TRAINS

That's an interesting article, but I'm still going to buy the game

during the demo watson is closed down (similar to gta) by police so police probably also closed metro access in the district maybe ?

I figured it was a combination of the 'journalist' making retarded assumptions and English speakers taking the Google translation literally.

So you can't ride in the trains. Booo fuckin hooo, that shit isn't futuristic anyway. It's like you forgot that you CAN still ride in a fuckin space ship though.

Fair points
Still going to pirate it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO THE GERMAN ARTICLE SAYS NO SUBWAYS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

everything about this game looks cringey bad
anyone still looking forward to this trash should be banned from gaming

spaceship isnt confirmed either and if trains are cut we can now safely assume the trailer footage has fuck all to do with the game

That's my assumption because like I mentioned, you could otherwise just get on the train and leave the district.

Gamestar has gotten in trouble before for their liberal interpretations of things the Devs have told them, even directly. I don't know why CDPR keeps giving this so much access. They were the ones who got the katana footage when no one else did, they have also had the Devs on for podcasts and interviews on many occasions when no one else get this kind of line of communication with them. I can only assume it's because Marcin or someone near the top has obligations to these guys in someway. Also, if this is pissing off Zig Forums I can't wait till you guys see who is helping to make the multiplayer game and the shady shit that seems to be happening there.

So let me get this straight.

You are complaining because you think they put a heavy emphasis on subway marketing just for a single, specific instance of visual filler?

Is that really all you can dredge up to try to make the game look bad?

shady how ?

SHAZAM user WHERE ARE YOU?

What is he listening to Zig Forums?

This is the weirdest attempt to drum up a controversy about this game that I've seen yet. I thought "the default female preset isn't wearing enough eyeliner CDPR is finished" was as retarded as it was going to get.

Mumblerap

why are there white people in the art if this is a futuristic california?

Back in 2018 CDPR made a partnership with a company called Digital Scapes. I wasn't following CP2077 so closely at the time because it'd been such a long time since we had gotten any footage, but more recently I've been looking into all of this because of the Q1 earnings call where Marcin explained what their next game was: a multiplayer Cyberpunk game. Anyway, it was later revealed that Digital Scapes has been making that. Which is weird because if you look up the company, you'll see that their employee size is only between 30-50 people. Here is their site:

It doesn't inspire a lot of confidence for many reasons that should be obvious, but beyond blind speculation the major cause for concern that should leap out to you is that they claim to be based in Vancouver, yet if you look at their public address it's a hole in the wall of an industrial park. This is typical of what a shell corporation does when they need a physical address. It's like Delaware and taxes. Except here, they are claiming to be a company in Vancouver because Vancouver gives out massive tax breaks and huge loans to entertainment companies (this includes video games). You do a little digging on these guys, and what you find isn't great. The company was originally founded by a Polish emigrate to Canada to setup a contracting firm to assist with the game Dying Light by Techland (another Polish Dev). If you look at the owner's twitter, he's effectively radio silent and doesn't even live in Vancouver (his name is Marcin Chady) which spells out that they don't actually work in Vancouver and just claim they do so they can get tax deductions. Further, I could only find 9 employees on LinkedIn who claim to be working at the company. One of them is this fucking guy:

ianrooke.com/

He's their Senior Game Designer according to LinkedIn and just take a look at the list of abortions he's worked on:

>DNF: Multiplayer
>MWO
>Hunting game
>Fishing game

Don't care. I'm still buying it.

No. Its not "Booo fucking hoo" you retard. Trains are essential to the atmosphere and immersion of the city. This games primary feature is the city itself and without trains it isnt complete. Its nowhere NEAR complete.

Synthwave of course. What else would you listen to in a cyberpunk world.

thanks Zig Forumsro, I forgot what that was called.

It's the fuckin future bitch booo fuckin hooo catch me in a spaceship, catch me in a flying taxi

>hurr durr only spaceship exist in future
Do yourself a favor and jump in front of a train.
