I do not like Dark Bramble

I do not like Dark Bramble.

Trying to get to the vessel is a unfun nigger dick and the only part of the game I disliked

In my first run to the vessel with the warp core, my autopilot crashed me into the planet and wrecked my spaceship. Fortunately I was wearing my suit and managed to coast all the way to vessel with just enough full and oxygen. It was pretty tense and a lot of fun.

Anglerfish give me a special kind of heebie jeebies.

damn I can't imagine how tense you must've felt. I did it smoothly but I kept going over in my head what I needed to do next.

Unrelated, but seeing discussion of this game finally catch on on Zig Forums makes me so happy, bros.

It's taken time for it to be actually appreciated, now that it's off Epic.

That's what EGS does to your game

finally came to steam so now I feel happy buying it

I honestly felt like it would've been a lot less fun with the ship, having already coasted through there a couple times. It was the only time I ever felt urgency in the game

what? scared of a little fish?

It's crazy how different people get terrified of different things in this game.
I was absolutely terrified by the sand going up and dying crushed. My wife shat her panties with the black hole, and my friend was terrified looking at the huge tornado in Giant's deep

hows that steamdick up your ass feel?

Nearly pissed myself the first time because I wasn't expecting it. Saw one in front of me, couldn't make it out clearly through the fog, and assumed it was a fossil like the one I had found in the Ember cave system

The options were snoy or epic china store. I decided to wait

I just pirated it.
It was still a fantastic game.

Same. This game reignited my love for vidya. The sense of wonderment it gave me is unmatched.

and xbox, its how I played anyway.

that's based too

The tornadoes spooked me the first time I saw them. Then I discovered it's fun as fuck to go island surfing when they pick one up and fling it into the atmosphere.

>ha ha there's no enemies in this game, the only thing that might be is just a big skelly now
>wait, what's that in the fog?

yeah it killed the cynic in me who had become jaded by all the achievement whoring, skinner box xp loot progression microtransaction collectathon fest games. we need more games like this

Same, pirated it first. I think I'm going to try the VR mod this time around but I'm a huge fucking pussy.

Yeah, I got it on Gamepass. And SoR4 and Savage Planet amd Metro Exodus. Honestly one of the best deals for a $1

Giant's Deep made me stop playing the game for the day, kek. Now it's one of the most chill places in the game for me, and it's always fun to see the game's physics going crazy.
I also still dread using projection stones.

savage planet is a fun time, however I'm sure I would've liked it more if I had someone to play it with, and it bothers me that there is 90 or so of the orange globs but you cap out your upgrades at around 50 iirc.

First time i beat the game i didnt even know the trick to send a beacon through the grave seed.
I actually manually hunted for the grey seed in the nest.
Maybe thats why I now prefer dark bramble over entering the core of Giant's Deep

Yeah, a friend and I co-op'd through the first couple worlds in quarantine.

There's something you are supposed to do and once you do, it becomes piss easy

They realized missed an opportunity with the water planet. I was nearly having panic attacks expecting some unseen monster in the depths

After I found feldspar from the seed on hearth I couldn't handle exploring anymore so I just looked up a guide for the rest of dark bramble.

It was simple enough to use scouts to find the angler fishies, but I didn't want to search around anymore than I had to.

I mean, it makes sense for the black hole to be scary.
Also, Giant's Deep was a major scare for me as well because I thought that it was the planet with the fish.

You think this is good? Oh man, you have got to play The Witcher 3

>looked up a guide
absolutely unnecessary.
Once you use the signalscope, you just know where you have to go

hahaha you are funny user :^)

Stupid question I know, but do suit thrusters attract anglerfish or are they only attracted to ship thrusters?

any directional thruster
but in both ship and suit you can still turn around while you float

its been a while since I played it but I think suit does

Am i retarded or are the jetpack controls wonky as fuck? They only seem to do what I say like half the time. I had to restart so many times on Brittle Hollow due to the jetpack not responding and falling into the black hole

?

??

>ERROR: DUPLICATE SIGNAL
>haha, weird... is it a bug?
>wait a minute...
>tfw you went three layers deep in dark bramble and it's still getting bigger and bigger

they really shouldn't have made it so easy to exit, getting lost would've been even creepier. The only thing better would be something more claustrophobic without so much fog, and portal-esque rendering so the spatial distortion was visible

Yep, you just gotta fly in at the highest speed and then cruise by

You can use low speed levels and they don't notice you.

Savage Planet is pretty good. The only downsides for me was the final boss fight was anti-climatic

You can, but it's impossible on mouse and keyboard.

It can take a while to get used to, but they made it so it's hard not to fall into the black hole so you eventually find white hole station. One trick about the black hole is that you can sometimes orbit around it to come back if you accidentally fall. Just angle your fall/ thrusters to go around the black hole and it will slingshot you.

What's you favourite planet? Hard mode: no Timber Hearth
