I wouldnt even call it a creepypasta anymore, this shit has become absolutely fucking kino with being a damn near total conversion of the original Majora's Mask game with custom cutscenes, characters, and everything.

Creepy shit always comes back to the forefront when people start stressing out. Between the pandemic itself, the economic woes its causing, the riots and the elevated levels of violence across the board its caused in the US we're going to see some mind bending content come out for the next few years. This kind of shit happened in 2008-2011 period as well but there wasn't the pandemic and violence thrown in for seasoning, the shit that is going to be produced.

It's extremely easy to use cheat codes to modify cutscenes and replace actors with cheat codes, especially if you're doing it on an emulator and if you're doing multiple takes. I have no doubt the Odolwas were also just using some cheat codes to replace some of the clock town NPCs.
I think you're being deliberately obtuse about this. All these things exist as tools for an author or director to weave together to make a story out of it, that's the analogy I was making. I'm not saying Jadusable is on the level of either of those two, I'm just saying he's dong the same thing. The focal point of the Ben Drowned videos aren't to show how crazily he's "hacked" the game, it's used in service to tell a story. There's a massive difference between using a cheat code to spawn a static NPC in a location and just point at them and say "wow look at what I did isnt that so cool", but its another to integrate them as a character into the story with their own dialogue, motivations, and animations - to bring them to life.
You know, kind of like the original developers did.
