Why bother getting Victory Cry so early? It's not that useful over Invigorate 2 until late in the game.

but why? he's clearly going to be angled towards magic. victory cry + spell master is redundant, just take one of them. brave blade isn't the best phys single hit phys skill either, that's primal force. take out mediaharan, that should be on a dedicated defensive/healer persona. probably should get fire boost + fire amp since they stack.

P3 has a great story but the actual gameplay is excruciating to grind through. P4 is pretty great from what I remember from it but I played it back when it first came out on the Vita and never got around to NG+ so my memory of it is a bit fuzzy.

Yeah I guess he's fine for fusion fodder. Also a good idea to pass Apt Pupil, Ali Dance/Firm Stance around + Arms Master for building Physical skill based Personas.
Enduring Soul is also a good skill to pass around if you're looking to do a solo challenge run for the secret NG+ or just bosses in general.

Persona is a mix of pokemon, visual novel with dialogue choices, and animal crossing (Time management and daily tasks etc)

As individuals, the investigation team isn't as interesting as the Phantom Thieves but they definitely have better chemistry
Gameplay is more fun, persona system is a lot better than card games
Social links outside the team are more fleshed out in 5 than 4
There's plenty of reasons but they're both not as good as 3 for me

Victory Cry restores your HP/SP to full after every fight. Mediarahan heals your party to full HP. Repel physical makes you immune to physical attacks and reflects dmg iirc. Brave Blade is just a really powerful phys dmg skill. Spell master cuts your SP use in half.
A lot of easy mode skills.

No, you'll get by just fine, but it is fun coming out with two or three "templates" for your personas as you progress through the game. Like "healer", "four elements user", etc.
