The SC devs are so fucking talented. Adding a feature where you can pick up items and keep them on your character is crazy. I don't think I've seen a game do that before. Revolutionary.
Anyway, I bought another ship. Just doing my part this funding round. I think now that they're at nearly 5 billion in funding, we might see some of those features from the last roadmap that got bumped, get released. Even if they don't, I'm pretty happy with where the game is now. I've got over 90,000 hours in game now, and I'm expecting that to shoot way up once I get my chronal implant and I stop aging.
The wife has left me, complaining that I've spent nearly 2 million on ships to date, but I don't think she appreciates what SC means for humanity. Just because we've discovered warp technology and already explored immense amounts of our observable universe, doesn't mean I shouldn't want to support the SC devs in finally implementing the coffee drinking animation. She can fuck off to the Alpha Centauri colony, she'll regret it when SC releases next year.
