life simulator with enough gameplay for it to not be consider weeb trash made for degenerates (it is tho)

Good art direction and music, lovable characters, a whole year to RP as Chad Thundercock in disguise and cool monsters, angels and demons to collect.

This, for better or worse. Its JRPG elements are the best in the Persona series, but most of the game is advancing through dialogue and weeb fantasy life sim

It lets me pretend I’m a teenage Japanese demon hunter who bangs hot women. What’s not to like?

Pure style.

The gameplay is good too. Shame the characters, setting and story all lose out to P4 though.

After play p4g I retroactively started to hate it and now I'm at the point where I can't fucking look at it without being reminded how terrible it is.

Why is Joker making that face? And what's wrong with his hand?

Why are you like this?

ATLUS where is Scramble?

You either get it or you don't. Simple as that. I don't know what the appeal in Fortnite is but do I want an answer? No. Is an answer going to change my mind? No. Basically, who cares. Do something else.

People with autism like it

i had the opposite
p4g just reminded me of how good p5 is in so many aspects

its the worst in the series I think. 1/2 had such interesting stories and 3 was interesting alone for mashing up the genres like it did which let the somewhat generic story not be so bad. gameplay was frustrating since you could only control the mc though but the enhanced edition fixed that and did the girl mc which was gay to play but at least it was more content. persona 4 fixed all the problems had a better story and a less depressing setting. golden was neat and part of why I got a vita but wasnt as big a change as 3's enhanced version was. 5 was better looking and more stylish sure but the story was much worse and the flow I think was worse as well. making the dungeons more interesting was fine I guess but honestly I have no problem with boring dungeon layouts since im there for the fights. the enhanced version was absolute shit tho and given its for the same console I dont understand what the point was. they must be hard up for money if they werent willing to wait till the ps5 came out and took advantage of that.

it's fun

I bought the game and honestly I have no idea. I cant believe there are so many people outside of japan that would enjoy this shit (and I do like normal JRPGs)

For the record I LOVED Disgaea 5 (Zig Forums recommended) but Persona 5 was the worst i think i've ever played

The core gameplay loop of daily life to battle is extremely engaging and satisfying when everything works out. I like life sims and I like JRPGs what's not to like? It has flaws but it was one of the most engrossing games I've played recently.

The gameplay is good but holy fuck the story is terrible

Don't know. Probably the easiest JRPG in existence yet for reason its praised as a flawless masterpiece. The main cast and story aren't good either.

>the easiest JRPG in existence
Say what?

>1 had an interesting story
P1's story is dog shit and I actually like the game. P1 consists of Kei telling you where to go as he self-sabotages every attempt in something not a fight. Don't we are stuck in a little girl's mind because the guy who thought that evil plan was retarded and as soon as you actually find the retard, he has already been drunk on power and sobered up.Also people refuse to remember all the dumb shit from P2 as they parrot the "best story persona has to offer" claim. Robot nazis, selective amnesia, a retard who fights with coins because he puts chi in them, that retard also buys coins with coins, Lisa sleeps with dirty old men for money while her father is weeb Steven Seagal among the other dumb shit I haven't mentioned. Also the gameplay is extremely shitty and it somehow got worse from 1 to 2.

>persona 4 fixed all the problems had a better story and a less depressing setting
>says persona 3 story is generic while thinking this
You are a mega faggot, P4 has the most generic story out of all the persona games. Its a murder mystery with no mystery. The characters are horrible, none of them have their own individual mind since Narukami cock seems to stay in their collective mouths.

Don't be that fucking retarded. P5R is seriously for super casuals.

I like the style of everything but the character designs.

>P3 has three hard bosses, Dancing Table, World Balance, and Moonless Gown Avatar.
>P4 has one hard boss, shadow Yukiko
>P5 has three hard bosses, Shadow Kamoshida, Shadow Madarame, and Shadow Shido.
>P5R shits on all those bosses and makes Shadow Burgerman the only hard boss in the game.

P4 and the Royal seem to be on par except Shadow Yukiko is harder than Shadow Spaceburger.

Debuff Jose, Buff your team, attack, rinse and repeat and be ready to guard his Launch. Not that hard.

How does the setting of P5 lose to P4? I literally can't imagine your reasoning.

>Style

There is not a singe thing 4 does better than 5.

Taking Lavenza to your room and not letting her sleep.

The characters in P4 are dogshit. They all have unrelatable anime problems and most of them are spoiled rich kids. Adachi was right that they know nothing about the world.

Id argue the SLinks in 5 are the best because most of them show up in the story, they give you interesting abilities that make them important and unique, and they all pitch in to help you, and they’re all designed great (expect ohya lol). Unless you meant purely from a writing perspective.
