Playing through the Mass Effect series, halfway through 2 and really enjoying it
after 3, is it worth playing Andromeda?

Alright, alright. I will admit that the character being an awful person does not make them a bad character. Just a character with bad traits. Which can make for good & interesting characters.

Nah, 3 is good besides the ending and Kai Leng, and at least the ending is slightly better than it was at launch. No fixing Kai Leng though, what an awful fucking character.

Don't mind the haters. ME:A is awful but it's still fun. The characters, writing overall, pale in comparison to the original series, all the women are ugly, the men are all niggers or incompetent, etc but it's still a fun game, just play as Scott Ryder, fuck Peebee (because Cora doesn't even say I love you and doesn't want to settle down while Peebee becomes a trad wife and you take her mind virginity) and save the world like a good cis straight christian white male.

Why? You have something better to do? It's a sequel either we like it or not, pretending it doesn't' exist doesn't make it go away. There are lots of bad games everyone played, ME:A is still fun, just don't expect good writing, specially out of characters like Jaal which speak like turtles and have nothing to say but "Did I tell you my race is very emotional!?!".

The side character almost NPC like with no sex scene and whose entire personality revolves around "i have a sister"? No thanks. Peebee is vital to the main plot, has the most content out of all companions because of her connection to the technlogy of Andromeda which allows you to make planets habitable and you use it in the end to defeat the villain. She's the Liara of ME:A , while your shitty Vetra is some casual flirt. There is a reason if you put all of Peebee romance scenes you get +38 minutes while Vetra is less than 10.

I dunno of all the shit in Andromeda I didn't mind Cora and Vetra (or Vex? I dunno the female Turian). I like the idea of Cora being the next in line to be a Pathfinder but your father chooses you instead on a direct order, she got mad at first (this could have been explored a bit more) and her being an asari fanboy (this kinda went nowhere as well) and the female Turian is just cool and a legit good character.
I couldn't stand peebe, the new alien and the Krogan one.
