it was pulled form steam because gfwl finally stopped making keys like a decade after it was shut down so rockstar had no choice but to finally get rid of it (and replace it with thier own launcher shit) as far as it running better it runs like total ass on every device its ever been put on. play this shit on bonex enhanced and its same rollercoaster ride of framerate. newsflash: gta 4's engine is fucking dumpster fire that can't be fixed

the gameplay was kino. it's still fun as fuck ans crazy/cool/funny shit will happen to you organically very often. 5 was still good, but a much more sterile experience.

It was a tech demo. A gray, dull tech demo with less stuff to do than San Andreas. I don't think it's hatred, I'm perfectly justified in disliking this game, it has the worst missions in 3D GTA history, I swear so many of those missions are incredibly lame "drive a cunt to a store" so much, and the most action oriented ones are go to X spot and shoot 10 niggers. Fuck this garbage. The Lost and Damned had the same issue where the missions were fucking dogshit. THe missions were better in Ballad of Gay Tony but at that point it was too little, too late.

GTA 4's missions were better than VC's and SA's, on par with 3. :)

I don't know why I prefer 4's driving. The cars handle like boats, but I think that's what makes them fun to master. 5's driving is too easy and forgettable imo.
