How many people have cleared the Pantheons?

I sure as fuck haven't, but I have unending respect for the devs for it
Games don't do shit even half as cool as that anymore

>Games don't do shit even half as cool as that anymore
You mean slapping together the same assets without providing any proper additional story or worldbuilding just to claim to have more content that only the clinically severe autists can play, let alone enjoy?

1% of players on PC and PS4, probably like 0.1% of Nintendo kiddie gamers.

Getting filtered on the hallownest one

I’ve cleared only the first 2 pantheons. They’re fucking brutal so I gave up. Sitting at 110% completion :/

Literally everything you said is wrong.

I finished them. The last one gave me so much trouble that I gave up for about two months before coming back and finishing it in a few hours.

I only did the first three.

Did all of them except for Hollownest. I'd been at the game for 50 hours and at that point I was getting burned out. Fighting Pure Vessel before Hollow Knight and The Radiance made them feel like fucking jokes.

Unrelated question should I let Brumm live a happy life or complete the quest and get Grimmchild to the max?

Same but it was a 2 year break for me before i came back, did a fresh playthrough and finished them. Took me like 1 week of doing a few runs every day on pantheon 5 before i finally beat it.

Not that guy, but the Godmaster story is pretty weak, I have similar problems with Grimm Troupe as well, which is mostly lackluster outside of NKG and the Charms.
It completely hijacks the story and the ending is only satisfying for completing the ordeal behind it and not out of any proper narrative conclusion.
As much as I like the challenge of the Pantheons, they clearly valued the challenge over the story they'd already created.

Me. Not with bindings though.

Grimmchild is cute af so it's significantly better than Carefree Melody.

I think the pantheons detract from the game overall, even though I liked clearing them. I saw a post here awhile ago about how having a sort of themepark built into the world that otherwise feels quite natural sort of breaks the immersion a bit

>start last pantheon after not playing the game for 2 years
>on the first attempt zote kicks my ass
>second attempt sly just rapes me
guess it's time to git gud once again
also does the last pantheon feature literally every boss including the dream versions? I don't want to grind nightmare king grimm too

>Grimmchild to max

I unequipped that fucker immediately. I just wanted to beat NKG.

>complaining about free DLC
>complaining about story in a game that never had a real narrative besides “you gotta stop the thing”
Seriously consider killing yourself

I finally beat the last one. I have respect for people who are actually able to beat it with all the bindings, but I don't have the autism to go further than getting all the achievements.

NKG is not really that hard.

>not allowed to critique something because it's free
I'm sorry I don't follow your group think, Reddit is more your place.

Isn't there a way to get both, Grimmchild to max and Carefree melody? I want to have all the charms but having Brumm as an NPC on Dirtmouth is tempting because I'm a moralfag :(

>Spend 5 hours beating all the platforming parts in the Path of Pain
>die at the part where you fight the 2 Knightsmould

after that part I just couldn't find myself able to finish the game

No, Carefree Melody takes Grimmchild's spot.

>also does the last pantheon feature literally every boss including the dream versions? I don't want to grind nightmare king grimm too
Yep. the final gauntlet of NMKG, PV and Absolute Radiance is no joke. Don't try the pantheon until you've practiced the bosses in the boss room first and are able to beat them all on at least ascended difficulty, or else you'll waste hours just dying to the same bosses over and over again.

>die at the part where you fight the 2 Knightsmould
That happened to me, and I literally beat it on the next try. If you got that far your muscle memory makes the whole thing easy af.

Terrible take.

They went out of their way to give proper context and a story for Godhome, but you still complain about it because it’s not “satisfying enough”?

beat the last one. like hell i'm gonna do it with any bindings though, shit took years off my life

NKG is pretty easy once you have his patterns down, it's Markoth, Zote, Pure Vessel and Absolute Radiance that are the real issues.

I appreciate that they didn't hide any more content or achievements behind the bindings, that shit is straight up not fun and even the final Pantheon was really pushing it. I am glad they added that little extra bit of masochism for the most autistic of players though.

I'm in the exact same boat bro. although I do hope to eventually beat the 3rd pantheon.
there's no way in hell I'm ever going to beat the 4th one though. beating NKG was insanely hard for me. I'll never be able to beat a boss rush that includes him.

Zote is only hard by virtue of coming after Markoth. PV is NKG level of once you learn the fight its easy as fuck.

I guess, I remember he was a bitch to deal with at first

>are able to beat them all on at least ascended difficulty
jesus fucking christ, I can deal with ascended nkg, but pv always pulls off that tentacle attack I never expect and I'm too retarded to avoid it in time
guess this shit will take me 20 hours to practice at least, not that I mind though

Fully agree. With NKG, once you understand the pattern, you can basically just dodge everything. There are a few fights though where it just feels like chaos and there’s just random shit being constantly thrown at you... and that’s fine if it’s just a one-off fight because you can face-tank it. But when you have to conserve your health between fights, then it’s hell

I’m fine with NKG. It’s Lost Kin that always fucks me

you can't get both. if you like having that guy in your town, go for it.
grimmchild isn't really useful for any of the difficult content anyway.

I practiced the fuck out of PV and still found him way harder than NKG but yeah, Zote after Markoth is pure aids.

Once you have PV down on ascended he'll be a piece of cake in the Pantheon. Wish I had any advice for Absolute Radiance other than practice and hope RNG doesn't fuck you.

Bought the collectors edition 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped out. Been fighting off the urge to replay on PC while waiting for the other version to arrive, but feel like that's dumb.
