Cyberpunk 2077 prologue mission branches

>You don’t have to meet with militech at all.
>You can start shooting the Malestrom gang from the beginning but you get more rewards and loot for this method.
>You can stealth in and steal the bot.
>If you meet with DumDum and you don’t follow the prompt for Jackie to sit down within 4 seconds it becomes a shootout automatically regardless of prior choices.
>You can get shot in the face mid-dialogue at one point when Royce puts a gun to your head due if you don’t choose to grab your gun OR pay Royce some extra money. If you don’t have the extra eddies and tell him you do anyway he kills you. This is based on dialogue choices.
>If you meet Meredith and you have a corpo background you can instantly see through her bullshit charade and call her out immediately on her plan with the virus chip when she mentions it to you.
>If you have a high technical ability you can also call Meredith out on her plan which she says is only tracking info. you can also purge the chip of the virus after the meet if you do so. If you do NOT purge the chip yourself apparently you can prove to Royce the chip is a virus with a detailed explanation.
>You CAN attack Meredith and her militech guards but her guards are far higher leveled than you with corpo weapons and you likely can’t hope to compete in this early state of the game. This was an option presented in the 2018 demo. One of the previewers from the recent test stated Merediths guards were about 10-12 levels higher than her V, it sounds like a suicidal option. If you succeed I have no idea what would happen. Might be something to try.
>If you have the virus chip you can: Give it to Royce like normal, but unlike 2018 where you have to kill everyone yourself, According to kotaku AU if you give them the virus now Militech will kill off maelstrom but you still need to escape

Cont.

>Tell Royce it’s a virus, as thanks he will clean the virus off the chip and give you the bot. But if your street cred is low he will insult you and your jacket. You can walk away at that point or Jackie prompts you to kill everyone there and in exchange he will buy you a better jacket. And you can steal the 50k off Royce also after you kill him.
>Informing them about the trap increases your maelstrom faction rep. This is the only place I’ve seen rep mentioned at all
>You can earn 50k by yourself (which is difficult but not impossible at that early stage) and pay Royce fair and square and leave with no issues (unless you made a deal with militech).
>You can shoot Royce under the chin and it becomes a shootout as usually depicted without having him as a boss at the end.
>If you warn Royce after you get the bot militech will storm the building, they’ll fight each other and you’ll have to escape with the bot and this will have consequences with your relationship with them later.
>If you see brick, the ex no 2 of Malestrom you can free him, kill him or leave him to rot. IF you see him again this choice has ramifications down the line for the main quest line narrative. That’s a big IF. (The previewers emphasize IF. This is very interesting to me)
>If you help Militech set them up apparently Meredith opens up as a romance option later for a male V but this isn’t confirmed, just have been mentioned by many people before.
>If you don’t the virus was her last chance therefore Meredith is executed by militech for her failure and her male replacement greets you at the end of the mission

who gives a shit

Bad game, limited choices, all ends the same - why should I care again?

>if your street cred is low
What's that?

>who gives a shit

It was the most preordered game of E3 2018.

>Bad game, limited choices, all ends the same - why should I care again?

How does it "all end the same" Can you name an RPG with more meaningful choices?

>>if your street cred is low
>What's that?

A general reputation you get for completing missions, it gates shops and some dialogue choices.

>info came out that characters will comment if you stare at them too long
thanks for the fucking spaghetti simulator CDPR

That's all well and good OP. BUT.

That’s interesting I do like it when enemies are significantly strong and pose threats. What’s the best non-lethal way in this situation?

Depending on decision set pieces it might be impossible for me to min max this

you're not even trying to be retarded. You ARE retarded

It's about the journey, not the destination.

>in exchange he will buy you a better jacket
Now that's a real homeboy right there

shut the fuck up and stop spamming shill

This is really not the kind of game you want to mixmax. Roleplay nigga

I know we hate video games on Zig Forums but I'm legitimately really excited for Cyberpunk in a way I haven't been excited for a game in years

Only reason i'd buy this game is to romance corporate babe

>Meredith opens up as a romance option later for a male V
Was hoping for some lesbian action. Kind of a bummer. Hope she's bi.

M A N F A C E

You think a pretty girl would settle into life as a single career woman in a crappy city like that?

>minmax
you autismos deserve a special kind of hell where you build lego castles all day but the last piece is always missing

>The drive to the Grand Canyon was the important part, not that we fell into it and died

>all ends the same
>can completely fuck the corp and get Meredith killed
>can destroy a large part of the Maelstrom gang
>can fuck both of them over and piss everyone off
>can free the former boss of the maelstrom gang

Which one let's you get the 50k and mommy gf

this sounds way too good to be true idk
will cdpr able to maintain this level of quality across the quests? even if all of this is a big illusion to get at the same result, it's an impressive illusion of choice lol

Wrong, the scenarios are different depending how you approach the quest. Doing something out of order will lead to unique dialogue from NPC's for example

If you look at it all the ways to finish the quest, it only resolves itself in a few different ways
>Either mommy gets killed and a guy replaces him or you unlock mommy kino
>Maelstrom gang hits killed off or you gain rep with them
>If you help Brick it might unlock some content

This is structured like some of the more complicated New Vegas quests

Probably. I've been watching TW3 videos recently that are about dumbass shit you probably didn't know you could do or even think of doing with quests, or how various quests intersect if you do them the absolute "worst" way/out of order/wrong/etc and I am very surprised by what they accounted for.

Well, I wanted Judy to be fuckable by a straight male V, so I guess we are both out of luck.
Just slap a dong on your femV and you'd be able to fuck Meredith, because apparently that's how this idiotic gender system works now.

Well I know one reviewer, Alanah Pearce, got to play the game and she said she saw the option to romance both Judy, which she said she would definitely romance, and then also Meredith, who was a huge bitch and she couldn't understand why anyone would want to. This creates a conundrum, and I'd be curious to know what gender she played during the demo. Maybe no one really knows what the fuck they're talking about when it comes to romances, maybe Judy isn't a lesbian, maybe Meredith isn't straight... wish someone would just spill the beans. If she played female, why did she get the option for Meredith? If she played male, why did she get the option for Judy? Unless you still get the option regardless of sex and they just turn you down if it's not right?...

the game is literally finished as of right now
they are polishing every single quest in the game with their delays

She referred to Zig Forums as she in her video so I'm pretty sure she played as a woman

Is there any raw gameplay footage of the demos? I have only seen the same reused footage in EVERY
SINGLE
hands on video

Finished can mean a lot of things, I assume they have the main story and a lot of side quests finished and function but they are now working on filling it up with detail and going over areas in more depth.

I don't think they were allowed to record it. Probably to avoid bad PR if there were any bugs that hadn't been polished out yet.

Well that still leaves the question up in the air then. I doubt anyone got far enough to pursue a relationship with Meredith outside of that initial interaction, so it's not like anyone can confirm, with a certainty, that Meredith only romances a male V, and then maybe the option is open to both male and female and they decline if you're not the right sex.

>how this idiotic gender system works now.
If her destiny is the COCK, there's nothing you can do about it.

Wait so would getting the virus off the thing and warning the lads about it but you still get the robot so can give it to the corpo lady please everyone? Gang dudes get their money and corpo lady gets her robot

Probably aren't allowed to record or release anything.

The most I've seen is a few of the clips from the night city wire video extended a bit so the cut-scene doesn't just end mid sentence.
